Genshin Impact wants to be the only game you’ve ever played on PS5

We’ve already seen games like Fortnite and Roblox take advantage of community-generated content, but now it’s Genshin Impact’s turn to make strides towards becoming the best game “forever.”

While the fresh update, which will be released on October 22, will introduce significant fresh quests to the ongoing Nod-Krai storyline – as well as a fresh character in the form of Nefer – the biggest headline is the fresh Miliastra Wonderland mode.

So what exactly is it? Well, it is presented as a magical land separate from the main campaign where you will be able to participate in mini-games, challenges, simulations and more created by the community.

HoYoverse offers creators royalties for creating great content, so it’s an incentive to explore the editing tools and understand how it all works. You can add achievements, ranking systems, leaderboards and more to everything you design.

Meanwhile, the entire mode will be presented through a fresh blank-canvas-style character called Manekin, which you’ll be able to operate in both Miliastra Wonderland and Teyvat.

You’ll be able to completely customize your Mannequin’s appearance through paid and free methods, with clothing and accessory sets being the main method of monetization in this mode. It looks extremely deeply.

It will be engaging to see how this mode evolves, as Genshin Impact already has so many options that it’s challenging to fathom how an entire fresh pillar will fit into it. However, we must admit that we can’t wait to see how polished and compelling the first batch of community creations will be.
