How to get the humiliation badge in 99 nights in the woods
To earn the Badge of Humiliation in 99 Nights in the Woods, you must die by stepping on your own bear trap.
To do this, you only need one bear trap costs 3 Scrap from level 2 of the Crafting Table at your campfire. To unlock the second level of the crafting table, simply grind 5 logs and 1 piece of scrap.
There is a misconception that you only need to step on someone’s bear trap once for the badge to trigger, but the most reliable way is to start playing solo, get enough resources to build a bear trap, and then apply it on yourself.
Smart players should be well aware of bear traps, as they are an simple way to protect themselves and their campfire while keeping a sheltered distance from perilous cultists.
The easiest way to earn the Humiliation Badge is stand on your own bear trap once to make it snap shut, then hold the action button above it to deploy it again while still standing in the same place. When the Bear Trap opens again, it will immediately close again on your foot, dealing another burst of damage.
