October’s Prime Day may be ending soon, but it’s not too overdue to stock up on last-minute deals. Anker quietly released a modern power bank with a capacity of 25,000 mAh earlier this year, which is located next to them Anker 737 AND Main series of power banks. This particular model boasts a massive 25,000mAh battery capacity, 165W total charging power, and two built-in USB Type-C cables in case you forget to bring your own. It usually retails for $110, but today’s deal brings the price down to $89.99, which is the lowest I’ve seen it. It’s the perfect complement to a power-hungry laptop, iPad, or portable gaming PC like the Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally, or Lenovo Legion Go.
Anker 25,000mAh 165W Power Bank for $89.99
Anker’s modern power bank has a battery capacity of 25,000 mAh, which is the second-largest capacity we’ve seen from Anker in a compact form factor. How much benefit will this offer to today’s portable gaming PCs? A 25,000 mAh battery corresponds to a capacity of 95 Wh. An energy efficiency rating of 80% (which is standard for power banks) means you’ll get around 76 Wh of usable charge. This means this power bank will charge your Steam Deck or ROG Ally (40 Wh) from empty to completely full 2 timesAsus ROG Ally X (80 Wh) 1 timeand Nintendo Switch (16 Whr). 4.75 times.
The Anker power bank has one USB Type-C port and one USB Type-A port. Moreover, there are two built-in USB Type-C cables. One of them is a retractable cable that can extend up to 2.3 feet. The second is a permanently attached 1-foot cable that can be used as a lanyard when not in apply. Each USB Type-C port can deliver up to 100W of power, for a total maximum output of 165W. This means that all three USB outputs are capable of charging any portable gaming PC at the fastest speed, including the Asus ROG Ally X, which supports quick charging at up to 100W.
Another feature common to other Anker premium power banks is the LCD digital readout. It displays tons of information such as remaining battery capacity, current charging rate, input/output power, battery temperature, battery status, number of charge cycles, and more.
TSA approved
TSA states that the capacity of power banks cannot exceed 100 Wh for carry-on luggage (check-in is not possible under any circumstances). This Anker power bank has a power of 95 Wh. You may get checked out just because it’s a relatively powerful power bank, but you shouldn’t have any problems getting it checked out.
