Rivos is a “crafty” start-up, focused on GPU design and AI accelerators on the open RISC-V standard. The company’s IP includes SOC and PCIe accelerators.
The finish has long been working on its own non -standard AI accelerators, in a project called “Meta Training and Inference accelerator”. The MTIA chip has been designed together with Broadcom, it is probably based on RISC-V and was produced at Fabs Chip Fabs TSMC.
