Logitech G’S PRO X2 Superstrike is a fascinating case to combine analogue and happtics technology in games

Published:

With super sensitivity, all kinds of shapes and buttons, RGB lighting and others, you may think that the scope of innovation at games for games probably reached the peak. In addition, Logitech made a large venerable “hold my beer”.

During the great annual event G Play, the Logitech game should remove the covers from the modern Superstrike Logitech G pro x2 mouse. Finding the black and white color of Star Wars Stormtrooper, you can confuse it as a game mouse and go on.

But Pro X2 Superstrike is swaying “innovative industry” because it has analog mouse clicks, without moving parts.

While many games for games utilize mechanical switches, click is involved or not. The analog click mechanism powered by magnetic effect sensors, such as those found in gamepads and game keyboard, allows adjustable startup points; A point where movement, such as a tap, clicking, pushing or pulling, causes action.

This may allow more control and adjustment of the mouse click, but then without the actual physical click mechanism there is no feedback to inform the user that the click has been launched.

The wise thing that Logitech G made with Pro X2 Superstrike is to utilize “haptic inductal liberation system”. Instead of having a movable click mechanism, the mouse uses haptics to convey the physical impression of clicking; This is a similar way to how Apple uses Happsts in the Force Touch Trackpad.

In combination with G Hub Logitech software, you have 10 levels of starting and five levels of resetting a quick trigger, which should allow adjustment when clicks are started to adapt to your game style.

After trying it briefly for myself, I was impressed. You may have a click trigger from the lightest presses to the demanding fingertips; I am sure that they will appreciate professional e-sport players and shooter fans from a first person perspective.

There is also a quick trigger mechanism that you get on the keyboard and controllers with the mechanisms of the effects of the hall, in which you can pull out the trigger or tapping the key moment when you reduce the pressure on them, without the need for full return mechanism to its previous position. When haptics replace the click mechanism, you can have this speed in Superstrike Logitech G Pro X2.

I am not a competitive player, so in my very compact time clicking a modern mouse and using Huba G to adapt it, it is challenging to feel a quick trigger here.

But I think this is a neat addition to mouse for games and a function that I am sure that I dedicated FPS players, e -sports professionals or streamers, especially since Logitech claims that Superstrike technology can reduce the click delay by 30 milliseconds.

There are also many other technologies of games in the Pro X2 Superstrike, such as a sensor with a maximum of 44,000 dpi and 8 kHz selection speed to maintain a precise and shapely mouse movement.

I appreciated this from a technological perspective and as both Fan Force Touch Trackpad – the best track of all the pretenders to our list of the best laptops – and Logitech mice, there is definitely a crawling appeal to Pro X2 Superstrike, even if I miss the chops.

As for the rest of the mouse, it resembles other Logitech game mice. There is nothing crazy in the design department, but it seems clearly comfortable to grab in the same way I feel many Logitech mice. If you like this project, you will feel at home with Pro X2 Superstrike; If you are more a fan of Razer mice, you may need to subtly adapt to this mouse.

At 179.99 USD / 179.99 € you have to be prepared to pay a bonus for Logitech G X2 Pro Superstrike, but then you get a modern technology for this circulation.

In addition, I would be curious how other brands, including Razer, react to it and whether such happtics could introduce a modern mouse horizon for gaming.

For those of you who return your noses at Pro X2 Superstrike, Logitech G has a different mouse that tickles your face: Logitech G pro x Superlight 2c.

This bite of name is a very lightweight approach to Pro X Superlight Logitech and is smaller to start. Superlight 2C, designed in cooperation with professional players, was created for people who like to take the so -called “claw” for game mice.

I quickly gave a modern mouse and although I prefer mice with a bit more and those that can be opened in my hand, it is still a glossy piece of game equipment; Just not my cup of tea.

If it sounds like yours, it will be issued on October 21 for the price of USD 159.99 / 159.99 GBP / AU 299.95 USD.

What can be more attractive and surprising to me is the updated Rapid TKL Logitech G515. This is the company’s first keyboard with low -profile analogue keys.

This design allows you to quickly activate the key and utilize the quick trigger system to get super -fry taps and pressure, many of which can be customized and adapted in G Hub software.

Although I have nothing against the lack of travel on the laptop keyboard, I like my desktop computers to have deep, satisfying mechanical clicks. So I don’t always like low -profile keys. But Rapid TKL G515 can be a keyboard to convince me, because knocking about it was quick, shapely and satisfying.

Not being able to take it for a long turn and not being good enough in hardcore in games, to really take the mechanism of quick trigger, it was good to write at speed; I could imagine it, but I thought I made less typos while my fingers hit the keys.

Logitech can make me think about the current mechanical keyboard using deep keys and encourages me to chew up the update. You can get one for USD 169.99 / 139.99 GBP / AU 329.95 USD.

In Logitech G Play there was more to see, but on the side of computer games. Personally, I would like to give Logitech G pro x2 Superstrike larger when it comes next year, and I am curious about Rapid TKL G515. What attracts your attention? Let me know in the comments below.
