Genki Aegis Shield: Review
Genki Aegis’s shield is quite a lofty namesake. In archaic Greek mythology, Aegis sometimes refers to the deity’s shield, such as God’s thunder, Zeus or the goddess of wisdom, Athena. It is therefore a word that symbolizes top -order protection. And yes, Genki Aegis Shield comes in – a screen protector for Nintendo Switch 2. Can he really offer divine protection levels? I tested it to find out.
After removing from the box, a lot happened. You get two screen protectors, application frame, screen cloths, microfiber cloth, and even squee (great word, right? The application frame is quite huge compared to some others I used, and was not the strongest around our switch 2 – but it was still able to perform the task. There is a lot of plastic, with elements such as the D -PAD frame and player in the application tool.
The application was generally quite plain. The instructions were not as comprehensive as I saw in other models, but the steps are accompanied by photos to operate the installation. I just had to spread the frame to Nintendo Switch 2, pull out the release tab, move after protection and remove the frame.
After a little Squeegee action, I could get all the air bubbles from under the Aegis shield, providing a tidy, well -adapted application.
At some angles I saw some inconsistency on the left edge of screen protection, but besides, the final result was quite cautious. Of course, you can not encounter this petite hiccup, but it is worth marking it.
Then came the injury test and the Aegis shield nailed it. I tried to scrape the key by the defender, using growing pressure in time. But even with severe pressing, the key moved on the surface without resistance and never left a single sign. Genki herself claims that he tested the drill on the screen, so this thing should be able to withstand all kinds of activities.

One of the things I undertook is that the Aegis shield was quite prone to collecting obvious fingerprints – even when I compared it with the protection of the DBRAND PRISM 2.0 screen for Switch 2. However, everything you need is quick cloths with a cloth of microfiber and you can reject these stags.

No parts of the Switch 2 screen were covered, vague or discolored, which was really very pleasant. When collecting in the corners of the defender, he also remained comfortable on the spot, so you can safely say that this is a sheltered choice.
And if you take into account that this model costs only $ 19.99 / 17 GBP / AU 35 USD, it is a great value for money. It is much cheaper than the Dbrand model I have referred to, and on the same pitch as the impressive Belkin Templass screen protector, which we tried during the batch testing.
Yes, the application frame may seem a bit exaggerated. I saw a slight inconsistency on one edge of the screen and you can easily notice fingerprints. But you still get a clear display and high strength at a reasonable price. In the same is a model that is worth checking.

In the case of the Genki Aegis shield, I used the standardized Techradar process for testing Nintendo Switch 2 screen protectors. First, we exploit screen protection using the attached instructions. Then we test the protector influence on the console display, assessing aspects such as brightness and vision.
