Fortnite will soon allow you to pay the exact amount for items, instead of buying more V-Bucks than you need

Epic Games announced that next month it will add correct purchases of the amount to Fortnite, Rocket League and Fall Guys, which means that players will not have to complete their wallets with more currency in the game soon.

Offering a loan in a game in fixed amounts is a common practice in many video games, with microtransactions, often demanding from players to buy a larger pile of currency than it is actually required to buy a specific element.

However, from October 14, the Epic Games titles will allow players to choose the exact amount of currency, which they require on PC, Nintendo and Xbox consoles, Android devices, iPhones and iPads, as well as through the Fortnite online store. One of the evident absences here is PlayStation – and although EPIC does not state why Sony consoles will not initially support this function, he said that it works to provide the offer “everywhere”.

An example of how it will work above, how it has been published today on Fortnite, shows a player from 600 V-Bucks, which offers the possibility of buying the remaining 400 V-Bucks required to purchase the 1000 V-Bucks product.

Where the player had previously had to buy the other 1000 V-Bucks packages (and stay with an unused 600 V-Bucks balance after purchase), the exact amount method offers a way to pay only for the required valeta V.

To say, there are still advantages of buying V-Bucks loose, and the conversion rate offered for 400 V-Buck top-up seems to be a straightforward price of 100 V to 1 USD. Compared to the purchase of a 1000 V-Buck package for 9 USD or spending even more on larger V-Buck packages and obtaining even more V-Bucks.

Epic Games did not say why he now adds this function or why he generally launches the offer. But it is certainly an engaging step for Fortnite and other publisher titles – and one that will probably be watched by others in the industry.

Of course, the advantage that the creators make players pay for more currency than they may need is that players finally spend more. Then players also have the remaining balance that they can then opt for something else – so the cycle continues.

Earlier this week, Bordeland 4 Boss, Randy Pitchford, suggested that the pre -sale package, which contains free Fortnite skin, could become a valuable investment for players. This is due to the fact that the previous Borderlands leather brought “over USD 2,000 during trade on eBay” (something that is contrary to the terms of the service and risking the ban on your account).
