Perfect Dark was almost saved by Take-Dwójka, but the contract collapsed

The initiative, the studio for Perfect Dark, was closed at the beginning of this year in mass dismissals of Microsoft, and its project was apparently canceled. However, Perfect Dark apparently remained in the development of Crystal Dynamics until the last week, while the leadership of both studies tried to find novel funds from a surprising source: Take-Dójka.

IN Report with BloombergWhich Ign can confirm from its own sources, it turns out that Perfect Dark has not been “fully abandoned” when the initiative closed at the beginning of this year. The leadership of both Crystal and the initiatives spent the next two months in search of a novel publisher and source of financing. While many pages expressed interest, the most likely candidate turned out to be interactive. However, both groups could not reach an agreement, at least partly due to disputes regarding long -term ownership of real estate.

As a result, the contract collapsed, which resulted in exemptions last week in Crystal Dynamics, when all hope for restoring the project disappeared.

Crystal Dynamics originally signed on Perfect Dark as co-creator after the project tried to leave the first co-deva, some affinity. Crystal was taken over by the Embler Group in 2022, and Perfect Dark was canceled in July after he did not appear on the Xbox Games Showcase last month.
