Revenge of the Savage Planet Review

In 2020, the journey to Savage Planet offered a tempting exploration and ingenious fight when you search the uncomfortable foreign planet in search of resources and cataloged its inhabitants. Five years later, Revenge of the Savage Planet provides the same basic concept, but thanks to the fresh perspective of the third person, many planets and a more thoughtful world project offers players a more consistent and pleasant experience.

Entering the space of the unfortunate corporate employee, whose task is to explore planets in distant corners of the galaxy, you will immediately start scanning any object, creation and plant. I loved to activate my roof and see a lot of previously untouchable items. During exploration, you encounter several different beasts, from charming sheds reminiscent of balls to burning birds that do not hesitate to spit lava on you.

Armed with an improved pistol, I have always felt well equipped to deal with the meetings in which I was thrown into. Add various peripheral weapons, such as a bait that distracts the attention of enemies or causes that they attack each other, a snake that can spray everything, from lava to conductivity, and a magnetic fork that allows you to turn metal objects into bullets, and revenge of the wild planet offers engaging combat meetings.

You will need all these weapons at your disposal at the time when you come across nests or find yourself in the ambush area. I have tried to keep up with chaos on the screen many times, when the wasps fired bullets, exploding the monsters ran towards me, and the beasts willing tried me for dinner. In such cases, I largely relied not only on these secondary weapons, but on the mobility of my character, which can also be updated. However, some types of enemy, such as compact bees that teleport and poke you from many directions, were more annoying than hard.

Improvements are well developed during exploration and collection of resources, finding plans and complete tasks to unlock fresh update departments. While the defeated creatures drop resources, not much feelings exceeded the joy of watching the resource cache, which you found pop like a piñata. These resources are necessary to modernize each part of the weapon and suit. At the beginning I loved to add more OOMF to my pistol, getting a double jump or removing damage to the fall, and later improved, it basically changed exploration through abilities such as attaching a beam of grabbing anywhere, including in the air.

Although I loved to add this ability to grab my arsenal at the end of the game, I was glad that he came later because he reversed my favorite part of the game, exploration, on his head. The revenge of Savage Planet gives many planets, each with clear biomes and countless secrets to discover, alone or with a friend, during a 12-hour campaign. By transferring this entry from the first person of his predecessor to the game of the third person, jumping from Cliffside to the floating platform is much more intuitive and reliable. From the lush rainforest environment on the starting planet to icy peaks, sandy dunes and volcanic craters from subsequent worlds, I was ecstatic to find every secret that I could and scan every creature to add them to my catalog.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is successful in which many games with an open world of exploration are not tiny: they offer convincing discoveries almost everywhere. For this reason, I often tilted the golden path to see what was located on the cliff above my goal. The world design similar to Metroid contains secrets tempting secrets, only to realize that you do not have the right equipment to reach it. I lost the number of times when I returned to the previous planet with my fresh update to finally get access to the area I learned a few hours earlier.

Although it is more in the background than the elements of the game, Revenge of the Savage Planet offers mainly a pleasant corporate satire and a job file for one, including a configurable habitat, which can be used a reserved corporate currency for decoration. Although I have always been more forced to the checklist of my mission diary than the basic mystery of the narrative, I was ecstatic about this story. The Raccoon Logic developer puts humor in thickness, especially in the habitat where you can watch satirical ads. The jokes did not always land for me, but a few caused more than a giggle.

Revenge Savage Planet is an improvement over its predecessor in every respect. The consistently satisfying exploration forced me to poke around each corner of the worlds I visited, and often combat combat meetings made experience fresh and engaging. The first game was a fun one -time experience, but its continuation is a much more complete and satisfying package that made me discover more wild planets.
