Hollow Knight: Silksong appears on Gamescom: Live opening night with almost 30 seconds of the modern game as a feast

Yes, Hi, we came back again with another update about the ongoing saga “Do we receive the release date of Silksong this week?” The answer is, maybe still, but this is not happening today in Gamecom open night live. Instead, we received almost 30 seconds of a completely modern game and ensuring that it actually appears this year.

If I sound a bit over it, it’s because I, like many of you, yesterday I put on a clown makeup on the order of Geoff Keighley, when he irritated with Silksong related to his today. There was no guarantee of what it would be if at all. But there is a lot of evidence indicating the release date soon, as in the next few months, and considering that we still do not know it, ONL would be perfect for announcement.

Then, today a few hours before the concert, the Developer Cherry band was teasing the “special announcement” for Silksong this Thursday, while the Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier started to social media to confirm the release date of Silksong, the night will not be revealed during the opening of the night. Okay, okay. AND Then, During the show it happened:

So okay, there is no silk at all during the ONL? Bright. But it was there! For 30 seconds and confirmation of Keighley that she would stay later this year and on the first floor of Gamescom, which we already knew.

Of course, the community was completely normal, as usual, with Subreddit and “Silksong” on various other social platforms, they absolutely exploded. It seems that everyone is coming out of this elated: they got a modern film material today and probably the release date will come on Thursday, although at this point I hesitate or even so much, taking into account the nature of this situation. At this point, it became such a meme that it is almost impossible to say what is happening to this game.

In any case, the film material itself is a bit cold, though a bit lean on the actually revealing, fleshy information. We see what a modern boss looks like, and some of the Hornet using cold skills on various enemies. I am sure that in the coming hours the community will fully analyze and compare it with older materials (the last modern things we saw in 2023) to see what we can choose from it.

I hope that Thursday is finally the release date, so that we can finish this strange, six -year expectation once and for all and simply play The Dang.
