Uh oh, Geoff Keight is teasing Hollow Knight: Silksong on Gamescom opening Live Night. Is it … finally time? Do you love hope?
First time? 🤡

If this post does not mean to you above, you managed to avoid an empty knight: silksong enthusiasm for years. From 2021, Hollow Knight fans used photos and emoji clings (specifically just below) to fool around about their constant hope for news about Silksong, especially around immense presentations, such as Nintendo Directs, Game Awards or Summer Game Fest. Every time a recent presentation appeared, Silksong fans published photos of the clown and joked from applying Klauna makeup, effectively recognizing that hopes for Silksong News were detained, but they still hoped.
Of course, Keighley can simply publish a clown in a clown outfit for this, but I can’t imagine that this would be advisable, considering the enthusiasm of the sore. At the beginning of this year, fans went crazy over the recipe for chocolate cake, in motion that went so far to force programmers to make a statement, so teasing that the audience is probably not the best idea.
Despite this, the irritation of Keighley seems to be quite a thing. We know that Silksong appears in 2025 with the exception of all unexpected delays, and this week there is a demo of the game that can be played on the floor of Gamescom. We also know, thanks to the leak, that ROG Xbox Ally will be launched on October 16, and Sarah Bond from Xbox previously stated that Silksong would be in the system after launching. If everyone is telling the truth and there were no changes at the last minute, it means that Silksong should be in the next two months. It would also mean that we are dealing with a real, real, confirmed release date every second. Who has a great business card, where such an advertisement would cause a huge splash? Of course Keighley.
Now there is always a chance that we are all just putting in the clauna makeup today just to be disappointed tomorrow. Grab a piece of chocolate cake, glue this rubber nose and stir at the night opening. Silksong Silksoon?
