Cal Kestis, the hero of the STAR WARS Jedi EA video games, will appear in the Spin-off series-establishing his first displayed performance in another medium.
Red -haired Jedi will play a role in the up-to-date episodes of Lego Star Wars: Rebuild Galaxy to debut on the Disney+ streaming service next month. The spin-off set in the style of “What If?”-remixed Star Wars universe, rebuild the galaxy earlier introduced the world to Darth Jar-Jar. Who knows what Kestis will appear in this second round of episodes (or an alternative version of the universe).
As in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Kestis will once again be expressed by Cameron Monaghan, in the first voice role of the actor as Kestis outside the video game. The news of the return of Monaghan, as well as the appearance of Kestis on posters to the series, comes among the speculation of fans that Jedi may eventually appear in the form of live-speed action, to which Monaghan himself said he was open.
While Monaghan said that “absolutely” would like to present Kestis in live action, the actor also said that the project “would have to be right” for the character. “I mean that he must somehow continue history or character,” said Monagahan in March 2024.
“I don’t want him to just appear, to stand and be there. I want it to mean something and for the character itself.
The appearance of Kestis in the reconstruction of The Galaxy means the latest appearance of his popular character except for the resavn Jedi series, as well as other elements from games. Kestis already has a spin-off novel, Jedi: Battle Scarts and appeared in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, Smartphones Games also published by EA.
Over time, various elements from the Star Wars: Jedi series appeared elsewhere. Droid from the same model as the loyal companion Kestis BD-1 is in episode 5 of the Bob Fett book (you can also buy Droid as a Lego set), while Season 1 Ahsoka saw the title Jedi psychometry. This rare ability to force the Jedi detect echoes of the past by interacting with objects or locations, and some were considered an indication that Ashoka met Kestis at some point in her past.
Is Disney just having fun with the vast cast of Star Wars, reminding that there is still a third star -wars game: Jedi from Respawn on the road, or irritation, which fans can expect even more from Kestis (and Monaghan) in the future? Time will tell.
For now, rebuild the Galaxy starts through Disney+ September 19.
