We hope that this review will aid you decide which difficulties to choose when choosing the game for the first time.

First of all, when you start the game, you will be asked to choose the preferred difficulty setting. From the easiest to the most complex difficulties are:

  • Easy money
  • Without a problem
  • See you
  • Judgment Day (unlocked only after graduating from the future mother

These difficulty settings are available to all game modes, but in particular in the story mode the selection means that everyone can enjoy the complete T2D history, regardless of the skill level. We recommend players for the first time since setting difficulties for the most sustainable experience, while more experienced with the genre can try their hand at Hasta La Vista; This is most of us here in Bitmap apply as our normal difficulty.

In general, the differences between difficulties are around the placement of the enemy and the result of injuries, the number of continuations and whether the time limit is included. Easy money difficulty has no time limit (except for one level) and unlimited. However, there are more detailed differences between the difficulties that affect the placement of the enemy, the times of the environmental trap and many others. Although it would be impossible to discuss all these changes in the scope of this blog, below there are some examples that will aid you understand the differences that can be expected between difficulties.

The level of the Cyberdyne factory differs slightly from the higher levels of the pistol in the game, testing platforms and time skills with various environmental threats. This level, set at the upper part of the cybercriminal object, has automated welding arms, used by Cyberdyne in its early Terminator experiments. These arms periodically fall and airy the torches, causing damage to the player if they come across sparks created by the shoulders or their arms themselves. These arms are scattered throughout the level, but the number of them is busy, it will depend on the difficulty of the player.

However, this is not the only difference between difficulties at this level. There is also a part of the level at which flames periodically shoot from jet engines. The player must avoid these flames to avoid injuries, and the time of their jumps up in periods when the flames are inactive. Below you can see that the choice of more complex difficulties increases the number of busy jet engines and reduces the period between fire services, significantly changing the level of challenges.

Here is an example from a different level, Freeway Chase, recreation of the classic pursuit sequence in Terminator 2: Court day in which John, Sarah and T-800 are trying to escape from piloting the stolen police helicopter T-1000. At this level, a meeting with a helicopter changes between two sections of the game, driving a car and shooting. In the shooting section you can see a crosshair that illustrates the faint places of the helicopter. Since the difficulties are becoming more and more complex, the size of the sight is getting smaller, which means that the player must be much more precise to cause damage.

Your choice in a complex situation will also cause differences in the fight against bosses of the game, including changes in attack designs, stronger time windows and many others. At the end of the first future level of war, the player will have to fight Centurion, a gentle Hohemot hunter from Skynet four times. Below it can be seen that in more complex difficulties the attacker Centurion moves faster, which means that faster reactions are needed to avoid damage.

These are just some examples of differences that can be expected between the 2D terminator: without difficulty with fate. Developing the game, we tried to give her a challenge, which would seem true for the sense of aged school dexterity games. However, we are aware that the difficulty in the sense of controllers is not for everyone, which is why we have implemented these difficulty choices so that everyone can choose the desired level of challenges, regardless of the level of skill or experience.

Regardless of how you decide to play, thank you for reading and we hope you are waiting for the 2D terminator: without fate, coming on October 31, 2025.
