Originally developed by Raven Software using a modified Doom engine and released in 1994 and 1995, the games pushed towards RPG, building inventory systems, vertical aiming, character classes and more. While the T -shirt, avoid calling remasters from publishing houses – technically I think they are fed for the KEX engine to get these fresh functions – this is still a handy shortcut.
It is a versatile and even extended collection, which includes:
- Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders
- Hexen: Beyond Heretic
- Hexen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel
- Two completely fresh episodes created in cooperation between people in ID Software + Nightive Studios:
- Heretic: Renewed faith
- Witches: Grandreur hills
In addition, the games received support for a maximum of 4K and 120 frames per second on consoles, nationwide, up-to-date controllers, mod support in the game, online and local divided screen. There is also an improved soundtrack of Andrew Hulshult, but you can stick to the originals.
In a great move of existing owners everyone Games will receive a free update to the fresh total game and will still have access to earlier versions.
