The planned crossover event between Hitman and Mindseye has been delayed indefinitely, while the developer Build and Rocket Boy claims that future updates “may be less frequent”.
It has been announced today On the official Mindseye website. In the post, the developer says that the following:
We apologize that the release of the Hitman X Mindseye mission, originally planned for July, was postponed. We are looking forward to delivering this invigorating crossover when the time is appropriate and will provide further updates as soon as we can.
The update also says that “go forward, updates may be less frequent, but in order to attract more significant changes.” The updates are still planned for August and September, but the programmer claims that they focus on performance improvements and error corrections, not with content.
Initially, Hitman’s crossover planned to bring agent 47 to Redrock City, although it is not clear what it would attract. The crossover appeared thanks to the publisher Hitman Io Interactive also issued mindseye, but since the announcement in June no details have been made available about the update of the content.
Until now, the Mindseye release was a boy’s rocket construction disaster. The game originally had high expectations thanks to the studio led by former Rockstar North employees, including co -creator of GTA Leslie Benzies. However, the game itself received bad reviews (including 4/10 from us) and mixed reviews, which largely criticized the destitute performance of the game, errors, defects and other grave problems.
Build a rocket, henceforth said that he was working on solving these problems among the canceled sponsored streams and players returning their purchases. But this did not stop the studio itself from releasing in response, and Build a Rocket Boy issued e-mails in the field of risk to a 300-person working force at the beginning of July.
