Return to 2023. At that time, MCU fans did not know who would play exactly in Sentry in Thunderbolts*, but the Gossip mill pointed to the invincible star Steven Yeun. So when the invincible creator Robert Kirkman allowed to slip that Yeun would play Robert Reynolds, also known as Sentry, in Thunderbolts*, fans of Marvel went crazy.
Here is this original Kirkman quote two years ago:
“Yes, he called me and said:” I just came back from the guard’s costume. I think I’m making only yellow and blue superheroes. ” He said he was in a costume and was like: “Aww, nonsense.
Quickly, two years, with Thunderbolts* outside the door, and we know that the sentry eventually went to Lewis Pullman after Yeun himself fell out. But at that time Yeun as a sentry felt a thing. In the end, Kirkman confirmed this.
It seemed that this caused Kirkman all kinds of trouble. In an interview with IGN at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 in order to promote the Invincible vs fight, we asked Kirkman, whose Yeun will play in the upcoming animated film The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, taking into account the actor’s schedule.
“I don’t want to lose more sleep by spoiling Steven Yeun News!” Kirkman said. “I can’t say how much thunderbolts influenced me.” Then Kirkman joked: “Why should you raise it? I’m so bad.”
Kirkman Wenton to reveal that he actually does Know Who Yeun plays in the legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, but this time he stopped spilling the beans – maybe with his thunderbolts / marvel in mind.
“The best part is that he told me who was playing in the Last Airbender, and I thought:” I regret that I did not know. I would like not to know. “
Kirkman continued the joke, saying that Steven Yeun was to play Abraham Lincoln in an unconfirmed hit television program based on Skinbreaker, his new series of comics, which he works with with the artist David Finch.
At Comic-Con this year Kirkman announced that the actor Voice Dinosaurus in season 4 revealed how many seasons he will need to complete the history of comics, and the joking of season 5 will be released in 2032.
