GeForce RTX 3050 refuses to die because NVIDIA is planning the fifth iteration of its graphic processor 2022-Nowy Ada Lovelace, suggests that the name can even survive Silicon Ampere

Even some of the best graphics cards come and go, but not GeForce RTX 3050. The latest version GPU-ZA popular information and monitoring tool shows support for the unannounced GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, which seems to be the fifth iteration of the original GeForce RTX 3050.

The initial signs of the GeForce RTX 3050 A appeared last year, when they were listed in the PCI ID database as a GPU laptop GeForce RTX 3050. Nvidia later confirmed its existence and specifications, stating that this graphics card used the newer silicon AD106 (Ada Lovelace) instead of the original silicon GA107 (Ampere).

Changelog GPU-Z points to the support of GeForce RTX 3050 A. There is no word whether it is a mobile system, so it is possible that it can be a graphics card.

Four versions of GeForce RTX 3050 are already available. GeForce RTX 3050 4 GB (GA107) and 8 GB (GA106) were fired in 2022, and the 8 GB (GA107) model appeared at the end of the same year. Last year, a version, which was released as GeForce RTX 3050 6 GB, was released last year. As a result, GeForce RTX 3050 A would be the fifth variety to be called the name GeForce RTX 3050.

Two versions of 8 GB and 4 GB RTX 3050 have 2048 and 2560 miracles, respectively. 6 GB of SKU is in the middle of 2304 CUDA and 6 GB of memory. In particular, the graphics card based on ampers has a narrower 96-bit interface, compared to the 128-bit bus in other models.

NVIDIA could start using the AD106 matrices in the GeForce RTX 3050, because there was no dying GA106 or GA107 and turned to AD106 to fulfill the contractual obligations. Alternatively, the company can simply get rid of residues or defective silicon AD106, a strategy, which it often used earlier. AD106 has 4,608 wonders cores, so even two -thirds of good silicon are more than enough to feed the GeForce RTX 3050.

At least Nvidia tried to clearly distinguish the GeForce RTX 3050 and from the other four varieties. The release date of the modern version remains unknown and it will turn out whether the version of this card will land on the retail shelves.
