Borderlands 4 now has the release date of Nintendo Switch 2 October 3, 2025.
In a film published on Twitter/x, Randy Pitchford was announced by the entertainment head Gearbox Data Nintendo Switch 2, after a little teasing:

Borderlands 4 already had the release date on PlayStation, PC and Xbox: September 12, 2025, were imported 11 days earlier from the previously expected version of September 23. At that time, speculation appeared that it was done to avoid launching the Grand Theft Auto 6, but then GTA was delayed until next year. Gearbox also confirmed that Borderlands 4 will cost 70 USD during the premiere.
Earlier, Pitchford stated that switch 2 “with joy with work“But it was not explained why the Nintendo version appeared later than other versions.
Last month we must play a few hours of Borderlands 4, and our preview said: “A handful of hours in which I played, left me quite confidently that I am coming back to this wonderfully strange world of psychopaths and extremely annoying robots.”
