The DAS Deltiforce 65 keyboard is probably one of the most anticipated keyboards in my possession. No, this is not a joke – I waited to get it for the best part of the year from the first announcement.
That is why he has quite high expectations and for a reason. Das was one of those manufacturers such as filco and Ducky, who have been operating in the industry for a long time. For most of this time, they stayed with a tried and proven formula, which worked: enormous and massive full -size system keyboard with renowned cherry switches, which were first designed for drivers and professionals. The perfect das keyboard 6 Professional is the best example today.
DeltaForce 65 means one of the first cases in which the apple fell far from the tree. To start with, as the name suggests, it is a 65 -percentage keyboard of the system, which is increasing with a much smaller system than DAS fans, for which it will be used, but it is a fashionable option that trads functionality to more space on the desk. You still get arrow keys and a compact NAV cluster on the right, as well as a red volume control knob.
Where this keyboard is more das with a dense processed aluminum housing and carved PBT dye keys, which assist the keyboard feel tough. It is powerful and does not suffer from an unusual deck and in a typical way can be used as a weapon on all intruders or nothing useless house plants. In cybercrime that I have here, it looks perfect and enough than a sea of other mechanical keyboards with aluminum cases and PBT keys, and this is Very deep sea.

However, it is in the middle where I start to have a problem with DeltaForce 65. As one of the last other brands, which were loyal to the once ubiquitous Cherry MX mechanical switches, I was hoping that this keyboard would be the same; Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Instead, my sample was sent with much cheaper and, to be honest, worse goals.
These are 45 linear, such as cherry equivalent, and should be good for lighter fans, smooth switches that match both writing and games related to games. However, it seems that they suffer from the terrible inconsistency in the keyboard, so some switches seem lighter or heavier than those next to them, just like the previous clone switches, when I got into the mechanical keyboard as a hobby ten years ago. For the starting price for 199 USD, it is not really turned on.
Don’t do it, there is no bone: they ThinBut that’s all I can say about them. In the past, I used much better line switches, regardless of whether they are clones in Mchose GX87 Ultra, or real cherry switches in various forms. I used to use MX Reds many years ago and I had them in the keyboard for the best part of three or four years ago, before I changed into MX Browns and Blues, with which I feel at home, and these genitoni do not feel snuff.
On the other hand, it’s at least hot, so it’s powerful to place new switches if you don’t want to use these cheaper goals. In the case of Funzies I have placed several new MX Northern Lights switches in Deltiforce 65, which I received at the post a few days earlier, and this completely changed the keyboard feeling. The inconsistent and soulless Keypress disappeared and was replaced by much quieter and, more importantly, more coherent inserts, which seemed more responsive, also thanks to the fact that DeltaForce 65 is mounted with a gasket to be very favorable.
There is a software support with Open Source online via Suite, which are favored by many brands without dedicated applications. This is a simple but effective internet option for programming macros, reconstruction keys and DeltaForce 65 RGB lighting with bright lighting. It works well enough and does what most people need.
Before I finish this review, I want to deal with inventing suspicions about DeltaForce 65. Everything, from the aluminum chassis to packaging style, and even marketing materials on the DAS website for this keyboard, has a very strong kechron breeze. I am not saying that this is a bad thing – as the old saying says, if you can’t beat them, join them – and I have been a fan of Kechron for years.
Buy if …
✅ You want a solid and intelligent keyboard: DeltaForce 65 looks great with aluminum chassis and PBT keys with camouflage, which make it quite unique.
Don’t buy if …
❌ You want better switches at a more affordable price: This keyboard decreases strongly with modest switches from the box, especially the high starting price in relation to the competition.
It is necessary that DeltaForce 65 offers keys, with a different badge, for more than Kechron, as well as their more oriented Sister brand Lemokey Charge. For example, a really excellent Keychron Q3 Max adds wireless connectivity, more keys in the TKL system and probably a smarter look on the side of legends, and 25 USD less than Deltiforce 65.
Or, completely moving to another manufacturer, Ducky Zero 6108 provides an old -style DAS with a thick and massive plastic chassis and appropriate MX Cherry switches (improved MX2A elections) in a full -size system with power and solid wireless connectivity for 100 USD. Opportunity.
My problem with Deltiforce 65 is not necessarily the keyboard itself, which may seem a strange thing to say, but in this way it was set and sold as “a keyboard to buy in 2025”. It is, looking like a well -equipped option of a small form with bells and enthusiastic class whistles, which will be appreciated by people, but is disappointed by some rotten switches and a rather unattractive price.
