The eternal story about capitalism teaches us that more competition is good, supporting innovation and lower prices, because the technology drops from top to bottom. Well, this was taught to me by my economic class a few years ago, but the rules apply to keyboards, believe or not.
Fast releasing games keyboard, which have the ability to have a starting points as high as the key to get extremely responsive keypress-in recently increased from popularity, because we saw, like everyone and their dog, they apparently throw their hat into a constantly growing market segment, desperately desperately having a piece. There are some real options that stand out from key innovators, such as Wooting (80HE) and market interference such as Kechron (K2 He) and Endgame Gear (The KB65 He), all released last year, and now someone else has wondered what could be one of the most convincing options of the party.
Gamakay is a brand whose reputation varies depending on the keyboard keyboard; For example, TK75 Pro is a unique mechanical option with all the bells and whistles of the key, but a fraction of the price, while the TK101 I looked at was a mixed bag of positive switches disappointed by modest quality. Go to the stage on the left, their up-to-date TK75HE V2 – at least by name and is more affordable USD 90/£ 69 The price seems to be representative for the previous category.
In the case of the price, its completely plastic frame is not unusual, or at least particularly solid. Flex or creaks do not have it and is generally solid. The same applies to double PBT keys, which are a pleasant price. They also have shiny legends and allow lively RGB lighting to shine mostly uninterrupted.
Gamakay TK75HE V2 Specifications:
The 75% system is ubiquitous among keyboards at the level of enthusiasts and offers a pleasant range of functions, including the appropriate arrow keys, the NAV cluster and a line of function in size, which is slightly smaller than TKL. In the upper right corner there is also a silver disc control, which provides a pleasant accent on a white plate – it is also available in black if you prefer something significant. Between the NAV cluster and the right from alphanumeric keys is also a diminutive accent of the featherlight belt, adding a bit more talents.
You also get using a diminutive screen above the right arrow key that displays the AT-AA-Blance key, such as time, date and which lock keys are busy. The clock has a pleasant flip-board style, which is a nice accent. You need to enter the keyboard software to show the right time, but it works in a few moments.
Connectivity is only connected to enable the 8000 Hz keyboard, electoral speed and scanning speed of 10,000 Hz, which is designed as quickly as possible, especially when adding the functionality of a quick trigger. I would usually regret the lack of any wireless connectivity options, but it is equal to the course for many more “inexpensive” options that I have encountered, including Wooting and End Graca Gear. The previous iteration had wireless options over Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz, but there was a lack of survey speed 8K. It looks like they are swings and a roundabout for gamakay.
The stars of the show from TK75HE V2 are its hall effect switches. You get two with this keyboard, with Phoenix Silent or Mercury switches. Phoenix silent, as the name suggests, is a silent line switch from starting 40 g, while the mercury switch handed to me is a lighter 30 g line switch.
After removing from the box, they act as standard switches, without any functionality of a quick trigger. In the case of a set of switches, Mercurys actually feel nice, with responsive Keypress, which actually has a substance. Definitely too often, Hall effects switches seem as if they lacked general sense and body, which can simply lead them to nausea in everyday employ. However, this is not the case with mercury switches, because I found thousands of words to work in a few weeks – including the same review.
The switches are also possible to scorching, to the extent that the gamakay combines the combined Keykapa and the switch welt in the box. What other switches on the keyboard plate with which it is compatible is a bit misleading, because the heels at the bottom are not the standard MXS 3 or 5 -pad, as can be seen on most keyboards. The description of the Gamakay product states that it is compatible with magnetic switches of other manufacturers, although it does not explain exactly which they are.
In this keyboard, by default, there is no greater feeling under the fingers that can be expected from the enthusiastic class option containing the seal assembly system. Do not be afraid, because apparently this keyboard can go from the upper assembly to fastening with a straight rotation of the screw, at least according to the brand’s website. However, I cannot find a way how, because it seems that you have to open the matter and I do not believe in my ability to do it without breaking something. After all, there are no screws holding the housing on the spot, because on some keyboard, which are even with a diminutive screwdriver in a box to encourage you to take it into pieces.
In addition to independent linear switches, mercury switches have a party piece of quick trigger. Gamakay states that you can set the starting point with 0.01 mm sensitivity over a 3.5 mm travel. Such proceedings include quite modest keyboard software that offers a similar appearance and implementation of the TK101. Controlling startup points is hidden on the front screen of the software, under the “stroke setting” card. Setting the input position and resetting the switch is as basic as dragging it from the default 2 mm to 0.1 mm for recently input inputs and can be easily done on the basis of the key.
Finding a way of dealing with the functions of “snap tap” for testing was a bit more complex, without any obvious instructions available in the instructions or in the software itself. Instead, both these and lively key options (the idea of setting many inputs when traveling Keypress) are hidden in the “Advanced setting” card. To deal with the “snap tap” functions, you need to go to the “Snap key” card, and then you can turn it on for any key.
Just watch that at least for CS: 2 you can’t employ it in multiplayer, because the valve will lead to you with an almighty hammer of the ban – for employ with bots, I had no problem. You can also sort lively keys, as well as “constant triggering” also on this card.

✅ You want a quick Hall-Effect keyboard for low-cost: TK75 V2 offers a responsive keyboard of a quick trigger with most of the advantages of more steep options for a solid price.
Don’t buy if …
❌ You want more sophisticated software: Against key rivals, the TK75HE V2 software seems to be half -baked in terms of appearance. Options of more famed brands do not suffer from the same fate.
By enabling the whole fire of games, TK75HE V2 has to offer and jumping into some games for one player 2 players, I was surprised how quick and responsive. The cartridges were particularly shapely, and the rapid drawing scenarios employ 0.1 mm start and reset points, which I used in movement keys, reload and weapons. I also set the secondary pressing of the W Key keys to allow me to run without having to stop the shift key.
There is a diminutive mistake if you set all the keys to start and reset 0.1 mm, as with one switching in the keyboard settings. This causes all hell to relax, and everything, from the lock key to the Windows menu, appears in action, even when you didn’t press the key. I am sure that this will be repaired with all future software updates, but at the beginning it can be a bit shocking.
Gamakay TK75HE V2 certainly gives me something to think about when it comes to the status of a hall effect on the mechanical keyboard market. It provides a really convincing option at a more affordable market price called a specific internal set, which means that it reacts to employ, while offering good overall workmanship. The software is a bit modest in relation to the competition and it can be argued that the V2 TK75HE is not as stylish or well equipped as key rivals from Kechron and Wooting. Nevertheless, due to the price, this is a solid choice.
