After waiting between the previous chapter of Deltarune, developer Toby Fox promises a faster return in the next episode of the saga. Chapter 5 is currently set to release 2026.
This information was disclosed in the end loans of Chapter 4 Deltarune, which published next to Chapter 3 at the beginning of this month. No further specificity regarding dates or windows has been given.
Deltarune is a “continuation” with his beloved independent RPG, and has published a chapter according to the chapter starting in 2018, with chapter 2 in 2021, and the two latest chapters fall with the launch of Nintendo Switch 2 at the beginning of this month. The game follows a man named Kris, who lives in a tranquil city of monsters known to those who played Undertale. Together with the school bumps, Suzie fall into a mysterious “dark world” and meet a prince named Ralsei, who accuses them of saving both the murky and lightweight world, sealing murky fountains. Each chapter deals with a different murky fountain in something like the “Monster of the Week” format, although Chapter 4 slightly goes away with Rails in the superior meta-outfit study, which speculates fans, can ultimately tie the game back to Undertale.
Chapters 1 and 2 are available on all major platforms for free, while full game, including chapters 3, 4 and all future chapters (up to at least seven) cost USD 25. Along with the paid edition, we have checked the whole of Deltarune so far, giving her 9/10 and saying that “his amazing and repeated culmination of captivating characters, funny and serious writing, and star music has already left one lasting influence that I will not forget.”
