AND Scanner may reveal resource deposits in Changes. This sounds straightforward enough, but it is much more complicated than just the equipment and employ of the tool. Instead, you need to put multiple scanners, examine their arrangements, employ the scanning waves and improve the search area to find the deepest part of the resource deposit.
Because you and your beloved clones cannot overtake the sun without proper consumption of resources, it is absolutely necessary to understand this mechanics. Here How to employ scanners in Changes.
How to employ scanners in the field
First of all, before you can employ the scanner, you have to Find a resource deposit current. Browse the areas where you have not been before, and if you come across any deposits, they will be marked on the map. Everyone in the photo below striped area (In total four) is a resource deposit.
If you are floating over the deposit, he will tell you what kind of resources you will find there: OrganicsIN MetalsIN MineralsOr Rapidium.
To extract these resources, stand in the middle of the deposit and Equip you with scanner polycelars (You unlocked this function in the prologue).
Then place to Six polygonal scanners In (somewhat) round form anywhere within the limits of deposits. This automatically scans the ground under them. If you happen to put multi -headed scanners at the deepest part of the deposit, great! The tag will automatically show where to place the mining facility.
However, if you do not find the core of deposits, you have to Recover your polygonal scanners AND Place them again.
If you carefully look at the area you just scanned, you can see the color difference; The more red the soil, the closer to the deposit core. Try to put your polycelars near the red area. On an example picture below, The arrow indicates a deposit core based on color.
You can also employ to facilitate the location of the deposit core Scanning wave (unlocked at the beginning of act 1). Place the polygonal scanners as before, press the “Scan Wave” button and look at the ground. Do you see lines moving in a certain direction? The deposit core is in this direction, so place another set of multiple scanners.
In the photo below you can see a gaunt white line, which, know my word, moves up. This means that the deposit core is in this direction.
When scanning resources in ChangesRemember a few crucial things:
- Beware of the range; Only polygonal scanners will be connected at a distance of 5.5 meters from each other. Going further from a nearby polygonal scanner, you will see how many meters it is before the connection is lost.
- Each scanning wave costs 1 energy. If you don’t have additional batteries, watch out that you can miss energy. Therefore, it is reasonable to employ scanning waves in such a huge area as possible!
- The scanning wave is optionalSo if you run out of energy, but you don’t want to give up, you can still scan with polygonal scanners. If this happens, noticing the red color becomes twice as crucial!
