Epic Games has specified its technical specifications of the recent version of Fortnite, which appears on Nintendo Switch 2 and revealed that mouse support will appear in an inevitable patch.
As you might expect, this recent version of the Battle Royale hit will appear with an improved frame rate (currently 60 frames per second) and a better resolution (2176×1224, when switch 2 is done or 1600 x 900 impossible to do).
The recent Nintendo console also allows a greater draw distance, so you can do more of these sweet shots of distant range, as well as physics of clothing and higher quality, shadows and water rendering.
Repetitions that are not available in the Fortnite Switch 1 version will finally be available to you to browse and see which terrible person killed you. The original part of the Save The World World game will not be available because it has never been sold on Nintendo platforms.
Another main Fortnite update, version 37.00, will add mouse control elements when EPIC provides it for download on Saturday, June 7. As you might expect, by default the mouse will replace the appropriate analogue rod and allow you to look with the Joy-Con 2 optical sensor.
Mouse control will be unlocked for all major Fortnite modes (Battle Royale, Zero Build, Team Rumble, Reload, Relload – Zero Build, Fortnite OG and Fortnite og Zero Build). You will also be able to exploit mouse control in the menu.

We invite you to Switch 2, everyone who plays Fortnite on the recent Nintendo console from now to 31 March 2026 will unlock an exclusive emoticon, Wishing Star, which Epic Games describes in this way: “Grab a shooting star, make a wish and reject him! You can’t go to the flight with it, but this is another best thing. “Nice reference to Kirby! One day, maybe we’ll get Nintendo characters in the game.
Fortnite is now available on Switch 2 when the console begins all over the world. Currently, the game is located in the final stages of the Galactic Battle in the Star Wars season, which intends to end on Saturday with a one -off live party, during which players are sneaking aboard the death star.
It was a busy week for Epic Games, who spoke about the future of artificial intelligence in his unreal engine and in Fortnite after the recent release of a very talkative Darth Vader with AI drive. We also heard from Epic and the Witcher 4 Developer CD Projekt RED on this eye-catching demo Witcher 4-I or the last game will look like something similar.
