Nvidia Boss says that Switch 2 chip is the evolution of Iwata’s vision

With Switch 2, only a few days, the head of Nvidia, Jensen Huang, took the opportunity to specify the guts in the portable console in the fresh Voice video creators from Nintendo. Many of them can be expected: according to Huang, computer systems inside switch 2 are a technical miracle, which allows for the most powerful portable console in history. However, in a more sentimental note, Huang discussed what it is like to cooperate with the deceased Satoru Iwata, the beloved former president of Nintendo.

“I still remember the day when Iwata-San shared his dream with us,” Huang said about the first Nintendo switch. “He wanted to create something that no one had seen before. The console powerful enough for large, film games-but small enough to take anywhere. It sounded impossible. But this vision became the original Nintendo switch. We lost Iwata-San before starting, but its brightness, its purpose, will still inspire our work every day.

Huang continues that Nvidia spent the equivalent of 500 years of engineers to develop a technology that powers Nintendo Switch, all this so that the vision of Iwata becomes a reality. Now, he says, Switch 2 is transferring matters to a higher level through progress, such as AI processors, which sharpen, improve and animated real -time games.

“Switch 2 is more than a fresh console,” says Huang. “This is a fresh chapter, worthy of the vision of Iwata-San.”

Iwata’s recognition is appreciated by Nintendo fans who still remember visionaries. Iwata supervised the edition of the iconic Nintendo equipment, such as DS and Wii. It is enough to strengthen his heritage, but the influence of Iwata on Nintendo is much more personal. Fans met him via Nintendo Direct, where he talked directly with the camera about the latest and largest and largest Nintendo. It is also the reason why we get behind -the -scenes programmers in the largest Nintendo games, which is unusual when you think about how secret Nintendo can be.

“I love the fact that he is still honoring Iwata, which actually made my day,” we read in the highest voice for YouTube. “Legends never die,” says another fan.
