Dragon Quest I and II HD-2D Remake receives the October release date

Published:

Square Enix announced that the remake of Dragon Quest I and II HD-2D will start on October 30, arriving at PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Switch and Switch 2 and PC.

Unlike the release of the Dragon Quest III HD-2D remake last year, this is a combined version in which both Dragon Quest I and Dragon Quest II are located. This one edition will end the Erdrick trilogy, and DQ3 was a prequel story of the original game – that’s why Square Enix decided to first convert and release DQ3.

Dragon Quest I and II threw the player as a descendant of the legendary hero Erdrick (the heroic descendant themselves), directed against evil forces that harass the earth, whether dragons, bad wizards or anything else.

While the Turn JRPG structure will remain, these two games are converted in the HD-2D artistic style. The battle system is also improved by updating the quality of life and some history – details about this modern content will appear at a later date.

The DRAGON Quest I and II HD-2D remake will launch both digitally and physically, but there are several options here. In addition to standard editions, the digital version of Erdrick Trilogy will connect Dragon Quest I and II with Dragon Quest III. Having a full Erdrick trilogy (bought together or separately) can unlock a Sui dog for DQ1 and a suit for DQ2.

There is also a physical version of the collector’s edition, which will include:

  • Remake Dragon Quest I and II HD-2D Standard physical game
  • Dragon Quest I and II Set of characters and monsters complete set
    • Including six characters, a dog, two boss monsters and a logo
  • An outstanding set for the outfit (Remake Dragon Quest I and II HD-2D Items in the game)
    • Force ring x1
    • Mucous earrings x1
    • Mad Cap X1
    • Undraction x1 vest
  • Exclusive Digital Wallpapers X2
  • Pre -sale bonus

We were just a remake of Dragon Quest I and II HD-2D, and nothing went to the impression. Read the preview here.

Last year, we also reviewed the Dragon Quest III HD-2D remake, calling it “a nice holiday of the most iconic franchise. Once again.”
