Thermaltake introduces Nordic wood finishes to its boxes and game furniture

Published:

The addition of wood boxes to the computer remains a popular trend in 2025, and Termaltake becomes the latest manufacturer introduced to panels with wood textures. The company said in a press note that several of its existing cases would be the first to receive up-to-date design treatment, deriving inspiration from Nordic aesthetics. Thermaltake also mentioned plans to expand this design approach to its composition of game furniture.

Termaltake has historically adopted an engaging approach, offering its cases in unconventional but visually striking color options. The combination of this with wood may not sound very attractive, but fortunately Thermaltake is not going this way yet.

As announced by the company and exchanged on its Computex 2025 WebsiteTower 600, TR100, view 380/380 XL, View 270 and View 170 boxes will soon be available with murky wood accents in combination with black (navy blue in the case of the 600 tower) or accents of airy wood in combination with a white chassis. In addition to visual changes, cases seem to have the same functions and support as their counterparts without wood.

By scrolling the Thermaltake website, we also noticed two up-to-date cases of diminutive designs, TR200 and TR300. Potential observations of the existing TR100 Small Form Faction housing launched last year, these up-to-date cases have a similar design and layout, but offer a higher height and slightly larger width.

Although the final specifications are not official, the images suggest that the TR300 will be available with a standard front panel with mesh or with wooden slats similar to a fractal design north and north of XL. Given the larger size, we can also expect that these up-to-date cases will match larger micro-ATX motherboards. However, both cases are confirmed that they contain an optional 6-inch LCD screen and support for a maximum of 360 mm of radiators and in total six 120 mm fans.
