CEO Take-Two has a “great optimism” for Nintendo Switch 2

We are less than a month from the premiere of Nintendo Switch 2, and among all the confusion around prices, tariffs, game cards and what is, one third publisher, says that he feels quite good about the console: an interactive excited.

In questions and answers with investors after a full year of the company, the general director of Strauss Zelnick answered the question about the publisher’s support by Nintendo Switch 2, saying that he feels the “great optimism” of the novel Nintendo platform. In fact, he said that Nintendo’s support by external publishers was better this time than in the past:

“We are launching four titles from Nintendo Switch 2, and I think that a larger range of editions than ever we have offered a new Nintendo platform. Historically, being the third in the Nintendo industry was a bit of a challenge. I think that Nintendo was very coming in the address. The basis, of course, that they are where there are consumers.

In particular, Take-Two brings Civization 7 (June 5, release day), NBA 2K and WWE 2K series (unclear, which games or when) and Borderlands 4 (September 12). Although it is not surprising, he has already published all four franchises on Nintendo Switch. But the Zelnicka quote makes it sound as if the door could be open in the future to other editions, especially from the rear directory Take-Tie. GTA 6 probably will not make a cut, but maybe GTA V, one day?
