Assassin’s Creed Shadows was such a hit, delaying unannounced Ubisoft games

Assassin’s Creed Shadows was a very needed hit for Ubisoft among misfortunes on the business side, and his success actually prompted the publisher to reject other projects.

Perhaps you remember that Shadows himself was delayed outside the original release date of November 2024. He was first transferred to February 2025, before he was delayed until March 20 – the date that ended.

According to all relationships, the additional time of development certainly helped, and after deriving the benefits of launching a well -received product Ubisoft delayed a number of unannounced titles that are currently in this works.

This is due to the latest financial briefing of the company in which Ubisoft is surprisingly sincere about his plans – although it does not go so far to describe these unannounced games in detail.

“After a thorough review of his pipeline, which took place from October to December, the group decided to provide additional development time for some of the largest productions to create the best success conditions” – explains the publisher.

“This decision was already beneficial to the quality of Assassin’s Creed shadows.”

Bearing in mind this strategy, Ubisoft is hoping to see a certain “significant growth” over the next few financial years. The most crucial thing is that he wants – and probably needs – the hardest Hitters to be as successful as possible in trade.

And if internal delays assist to realize this goal, it seems to be a call.
