Sony insidiously added a modern payment option to PS Store on PS5 and this is good news for iOS users.
Apple Pay is now available for shopping on the PlayStation digital store website.
People with iOS/iPados 18 or newer will be able to apply the modern function.
When you go to buy something from the PS store using Apple Pay, you will present you a unique code on the screen, which you need to scan with the device camera.
Click the link that will appear and you will be asked to apply ID Face ID (or Touch ID) to make payments using the dynamic Apple Pay card.
It is always good to have more options, and an additional step using the identification tool of the device seems to be a more secure option than saving the card on the PSN account.
