Published:

Nintendo Switch comes out in the splendor of glory, and some exhilarating games launched to make room for the console successor: the officially announced switch 2. Regardless of whether they are developed exclusively for the switch or transferred from other platforms, the upcoming Switch games will end the last year of Switch, as well as the switch 2 after release.

We hope that in 2025 we will get well -known development titles, as well as many novel games announced on March Nintendo Direct. Here are all novel Switch games that we can expect this year.

All upcoming switch games with release dates

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 (May 16, 2025)

That’s right, this is another combat game collection. This time, Capcom compiles games released in 1998–2004, which some would call the peak era for dexterity. This second combat collection includes both English and Japanese versions of six games, including Capcom vs. SNK and Power Stone Beat-Up series.

Pipistrello and Cursed Yoyo (May 28, 2025)

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma (May 30, 2025)

The iconic Sim RPG card has returned. As a powerful land dancer, you must travel around the eastern nation of Azuma to fight monsters and restore the villages. The novel factory game Rune looks like it puts a stronger emphasis on action designs and anime in the anime style, although improved switching efficiency with a completely novel story, I hope that the improvement over the Rune 5 factory. It is a fleece factory, so there will be a lot of romance, now called “scenarios”.

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Homeless Army (June 19, 2025)

After the killer in 2024, together with SMT V: Revenge, Unicorn Overlord and Ign’s Game of the Year, metaphors: Refantazio, developer Atlus is already until the next thing. Raidou Remastered looks more like a remake than a remaster, introducing novel graphics and improving the quality of life in Shin Megami Tersei, which originally released on PS2 in 2006.

A substantial feature of the latest Nintendo Direct was Bandai Namco, announcing them to restore the older IP PlayStation. You generally feel that you aid in creating a music video, while building a sufficient number of rhythm to remove enemies.

The upcoming switch games with unknown premiere dates

There are many other Nintendo Switch games in development that do not yet have a solid release date. Here are some more Switch games that we know they are on the way:

When does Nintendo Switch 2 come out?

Over the past year, we have heard rumors about the successor of Nintendo Switch about his appearance, release date and name. On January 16, Nintendo finally confirmed a decent part of these rumors with the official announcement of Switch 2. The latest Switch 2 Nintendo Direct confirmed that the novel console is to be released on June 5, with novel functions, including mouse control, gamechat and camera, all of which will affect future games.

What games will start on Switch 2?

Switch 2 will mostly be compatible back, supporting both physical and digital games from the original switch. Otherwise, the latest Nintendo Direct revealed a solid list of novel titles of the first party, such as Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Banana, external ports such as Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Elden Ring and Cyberpunk 2077, and generally long -awaited games such as Hollow Knight: Silksong. Some existing Switch games, such as the tears of the kingdom, will receive “improved editions” with novel content on Switch 2, while others receive free updates to improve performance.
