A few days ago, Rockstar announced the release date of Grand Theft Auto VI, but the game will not appear in 2025. Instead, GTA 6 will be launched on May 26, 2026.
This is both good and bad news for the rest of the game industry. Many companies looked at the end of 2025 with concern, taking into account that two stated that GTA 6 was the target this year, so even gigantic budget games, such as the next battlefield, received a moving release window.
