Rockstar announced the release date of the Grand Theft Auto VI, but the game will not appear in 2025. Instead, GTA 6 will be launched on May 26, 2026.

This is both good and bad news for the rest of the game industry. Many companies looked at the end of 2025 with concern, taking into account that two stated that GTA 6 was the target this year, so even gigantic budget games, such as the next battlefield, received a moving release window.
Of course, this could give programmers a feeling that they could easily return to 2026, if they needed time, and suddenly there would be pressure to try to press the release of 2025. Fortunately, because GTA 6 does not come until May 2025, from the end of February to the beginning of February 2026. Grand Theft Auto VI takes us all back to Vice City for another crime story. The trailer of the announcement introduced us to Lucia, the first heroine of the series, as well as the male counterpart. Lucia apparently starts the game that comes out of prison after a little bit of “unlucky”.
It is a clearly contemporary place in the fictitious state of Leonid, with a handful, such as social media shown in the trailer, but this will not stop many iconic classic cars and inspiration in the field of American culture in the southeast of the country and Florida. From packed beaches to swamps to pressure crafts and partying at the top of the skyscrapers, there are also jokes thrown into the trailer about the fight against the crocodile in the pools from the garden, “Floridaman” – Leonidaman in the game – and many others.
