In the initial minutes of mouth washing, the pilot of the spacecraft crashes into the asteroid, stuck in the crew in distant range of space and brutally mutilating the captain in one whole life. Below is an existential horror with unique visual effects, brutal dialogue and surreal consequences that made my eyes closed on the screen throughout three hours of the game. Usually I am not a fan of horror, but I decided to dare space space in search of a good story, and washing my lips absolutely provides.

You experience events with mouthwash through Curly, captain before the disaster and Jimmy, who later takes over. For the maximum voltage, two time lines are entwined in an effortless to follow non -linear structure. The first adventure game makes you travel without windows, a claustrophobic spacecraft known as Tulpar, where you will mainly talk to your crew and solve basic puzzles, usually, bringing items from one area to another or remembering numerical sequences to unlock the door or sheltered. It is perfectly supporting the game loop, but it is nothing special – just a way to move from one event a story to another.

Between the main chapters, washing the mouth is not afraid to be surreal and sleep, immersed in the terrifying scenarios of nightmares based on the feeling of guilt and anxiety of the hero. From the Labyrinth of the corridors of the ship to Grotesque, an abstract body horror, the programmer improperly refuses to allow the player to feel comfortable; I’ve always been as restless as the rest of my colleagues. While some subsequent sequences lasted too long for my preferences (especially when I willingly returned to the climax of the main history), these sections are a huge part of the identity of the mouthwash, filling me with terrifying pleasure every time the up-to-date section began.

The crew is another huge attraction of the game, each extremely tragic in a way that the plot refrains until. Before anyone was imprisoned in space, they were imprisoned in a frosty vacuum of capitalism by an unfettered company – they do not risk life for something they believe, but withdraw. And although death is not certain, the approaching fear of senseless death is contagious, raising tensions until the crew wins or loses any hope. These moments of intensive pressure bring out the best and worst of each person on Tulpar, and the team in the wrong organs create the highest class dialogue to express it. The monologue of the slow playing with Swansea is the peak of this writing and got stuck with me since the game has been defeated.

While many video games stories are dazzling and to the point, rinsing the lips is based on overtones and implications for great success, and the history of one character will only click when you realize that the truth was afraid to admit. The hero’s double structure hides information in a similar way and I really liked the feeling of ending the game when everyone’s motivations became clear. The fate and actions of each character are announced enough to feel inevitable without predictable. Players who play the second game will probably raise the details they missed for the first time.

Visualizations are another powerful strength of the mouth. It is far from the only horror game with a low container in 2024, but the aesthetic direction is popular for no reason. It is a cut of nostalgia and fear, recalling a familiar climate for a disturbing narrative. He also creatively uses “Data Moshing”, Trippy Visual Effect that prints the image pixels to video movement to subtly move the player between the areas. Like innovative, surreal sections of horror movies, these transitions stop the player from comfort, and the style of art makes them particularly effective.

At many points of the game, the text flashes on the screen, saying: “I hope it hurts”, ambiguous news from one character to another. We never find out who says it to whom, but this is a particularly murky line: a clear desire for suffering in history in which everyone suffers in their own way. Quotes such as those along with recent moments for rinsing the mouth have caused me to sand and introspective, counting the lengths to which people can be forced when they are exerted on pressure by a crisis, ego or capitalism. As I felt disturbing. In other words, it hurts, the wrong organ. Your wish has come true.
