The quality of MONTECH XR wood is good, without obvious main weaknesses.

▶ ️ Side view and adjustment options, GPU handle

At first glance, it may seem quite typical in the case of medium -sized casings of the middle tower, but there are two things that make me distinguish me: in addition to fans mounted on the front, Montech XR Wood serves two fans of the lateral and three fans on the PSU shock.

▶ ️ Officer and fan support

This matter can be equipped with a maximum of 12 fans. At the top of the housing, you can install up to 360 mm of radiators, until the front can be installed AIO 280 mm.

▶ ️ Dust filters, lower view

The housing contains many dust filters that are elementary to remove and magnetically attached. Dust filters are at the top, side, at the front and bottom of the device.

At the bottom of the housing there is a petite dust filter for the power supply inlet and four feet with rubber.

▶ ️ Side view, storage and cable management

The default configuration has rape strips along the middle routing path so that the cables are decent and organized. The storage service is highlighted in blue above. You can install two 3.5-inch disks or one 2.5- and one 3.5-inch drive in memory drive at the bottom of the housing and one 2.5-inch drive on the plate behind the motherboard.

▶ ️ front view

The front of the housing has a grid from a mesh protecting the front fans, with wooden straps accentuating the top and DNA of the device. It’s not much wood, but it looks nice if you like this current housing trend.

Our thermal tests have been presented to get more information about product performance, but they are not intended as the only judgment judgment. You should also consider the style, price, functions and level of noise in the case and we all have different preferences. What I liked, you can not, and that’s fine. My goal of these reviews is to provide everyone, regardless of their preferences, enough information to decide if the product is suitable for them.

Thanks to today’s review, I updated the configuration and testing methods that I utilize for testing compared to previous reviews. For example, I used one air cooler in the tower, but I decided to utilize an air cooler with a double tower in the event of a review in the future.

Measurements that I compared this case against focusing on the performance of the thermal transfer of the case.

We will test the system with its pre -installed fans at full speed and normalized noise at 38.9 DBA. For standard tests, we will show one set of reference points with galvanized fans set at full speed for maximum potential. The second set of comparative points will show performance at the fan speed set at 30% for those who prefer quietly operating systems.
