Cherry MX 8.2 TKL Wireless Xaga Review

When it comes to peripheral PC games, I don’t think much of more arguments than keyboards – particularly mechanical. These pressure input devices occur in a huge variety of options depending on your preferences, satisfying things such as size, sense and of course appearance. Cherry is a well -known name in space, it is famed for providing one of the best switches in the industry. In Cherry MX 8.2 TKL Wireless Xaga, the company’s latest efforts are paired with an elegant ergonomic 80% coefficient with lots of versatility.

Cherry MX 8.2 TKL Wireless Xaga is a flashy, diminutive 80% unit straight from a box with a solid but featherlight aluminum base. This version contains double PBT+PC keys with recent MX2A Brown Cherry switches. There is a diminutive power switch, connecting featherlight indicators and USB-C ports easily accessible along the upper part of the plate, while the bottom is the knocking, serial numbers, slip-up button and lots of rubber pads to maintain stability. There is not much to speak, which makes this board pleasant and slim, not wasting any place.

Each of the keys offers a subtle but comfortable division that surrounds my fingers, with rounded corners and slightly bent down. This is a fairly convenient way to rest your fingers and it is quite straightforward to move from one key to another.

While the spacing is slightly different than what I am used to, it is quite an intuitive configuration and it turned out that it is relatively straightforward to sink into the rhythm of writing. Double PBT means that these hats should survive me. This includes indicators and functions of white letters; Key markings are part of the forming process, thanks to which theoretically impossible to wear.

Keykaty is completely solid at the top, so RGB LED backlight can only penetrate through the matte sides of the keys. This prevents dazzling featherlight shining straight into your eyes and gives a more subtle lighting experience than many other keys.

LED can be customized, but the options are slightly more circumscribed than most keyboards. For example, he can cycles of colors, but only in the selected color spectrum and all keys. The easiest way to do this is the Cherry tool application, which is strangely 32-bit and seems quite ancient, but gives all the same options as shorten with less confusion.

While the lights of utility, like Caps Lock, are not as obvious as on other keyboards, the subdued appearance has an elegant homogeneity. Lower lumens are a more calming accent or if the LEDs are really not yours, you can turn them off completely. This style style is probably not the first choice for those who want to be blown up with their keys, but instead works well for configuration with a little style. Having stars on the spacebar is solid white, like other markings instead of allowing them to pass LEDs, seems to be the only real mistake here.

The switches under these keys are their own MX2A Brown Cherry. Switches are another very personal choice and I am a large fan of these recent brown. As expected, they have a good touch level without being disgusting. They are featherlight and silky, thanks to which it is really straightforward to get into writing at speeds, while offering absolute certainty that you get this contribution during the game. Recently, I took Warframe 1999, and my swift jumping in space Parkour was child’s play with these keys.

Cherry’s MX 8.2 TKL Wireless Xaga has a 2.4 GHz wireless coupon until the fastest connection without cables, but unfortunately there is no storage. It also supports three Bluetooth connections, but there are no profiles that could lend a hand.

Bluetooth is also quite swift and you can quickly replace the connection between these modes using function keys. The LED indicator on the back of the disc is the only way to say in what connection you are, between the key or Bluetooth, and I did not find a way to say which I exploit three Bluetooth connections at first glance. The indicator featherlight is also a red LED, which simply seems incorrect to the Bluetooth indicator.

You can also go through a cable connection via the USB Type-C port on the back. The keyboard is equipped with a USB type-c type-c cable, which allows data and charging-and yes, you can write and charge at the same time. This is useful, because although the battery life is great, charging is intended, although I did not think that this is a problem. The keyboard turns off all LED apparatus when you have less than 25%, so you have a lot of warnings. Ultimately, it took me about a month of exploit before I had to connect it.

Buy if …

You need the main multi -survivor: This keyboard works with three different devices connected Bluetooth and a 2.4 GHz key and will quickly change between them on your whims.

You want a little guy who lasts: TKL keyboards allow you to choose angles and get closer to the mouse to make them more ergonomic, and this little guy has a battery that can last throughout the month in this area.

Do not buy if …

You want all RGB: The presence is available via shortcuts or applications, but they are slightly circumscribed. In addition, the keys contained on this board only release featherlight with matte sides, offering a more subdued look.

You want to save cash: You can probably get a board with half these specifications for a quarter of the price. With other solid wireless options, such as Keychron K2 for 69 USD, over 200 USD is complex sales.

I think this is partly caused by the default options for saving the built -in power in the keyboard. After 15 seconds of inactivity, it will go to sleep mode, in which the LEDs turn off, but the disc still registers inputs. After 15 minutes he hibernates. This turns off the device and waking up back can be quite ponderous. Sometimes it can be a good few seconds before it recognizes the input and will not change the connections of the devices until it is good and good. They can be configured and even turned off in the application, and while the irritation consisting in the fact that you have to wait a sizzling minute, until this sleepy head can move, it can force your hand, now I am content to be the extended battery life to mess with it.

Thanks to the wireless XAGA MX 8.2 TKL Cherry provided a versatile and portable keyboard that you don’t seem to spend too much to get there. The Cherry Utility application definitely leaves much to be desired, and for a board exceeding USD 200 designed to work on various devices is strange that skipping profiles. A slightly subtle RGB brand on the keyboard offers a nice -looking experience, while these recent cherry brown and double -form keys provide responsive and straightforward input data. The possibility of quick conjunction between four different devices means that this keyboard is a master of any test, while its battery life and compact size give her boots for start -up. This keyboard can happily introduce work, but for what it costs, you would like to make sure that you get overtime.
