It would always be a challenge to adapt a immense, twisting story of Last of Us Part 2 on a television program for many seasons, and halfway the jury is still available or will eventually work. Season 2 of the rude adaptation of HBO dogs is not a bad television, far from this. It is extremely well made, often looks great and full of star performances. But the devices and choices of the story made in terms of pace and the location of key events raise to what works, ultimately without ensuring the striking effect undeniable shocking events of this story. This is a helpful change in the pace for the season, in which a huge part of the episodes covers only a few days. And it’s a great showcase for Pascal and Ramsey – maybe it’s too great. Although all novices are, though tense, terrifying and electrifying, like many sets, it is hard to move away from a section of flashback, who wants something other than as many of these two characters in close proximity.

Dever, Wright and O’Hara are predictably wonderful, although I would like to see more of them. Among the stupid services of fans, such as Twisted Metal and The Witcher, it is still the best adaptation of video game on television. However, pretending that the last of us completely exceeds our original medium, it would be ignoring the hole in the center of the series, in which there should be insight, complexity and affluent supporting characters. Instead, extended zombie scenes and long, still sequences in which people explore wonderfully decomposing spaces are filled. At these moments, you can watch as someone plays a video game.
