Update 14:30 Fri: Wizards of the Coast issued a statement of DMCA today, saying that it happened incorrectly and apologizing for the situation:
“The Baldur’s Dmca village was issued incorrectly – we are sorry for this,” we read in a statement. “We are in the process of repairing that now fans and the star community can still enjoy this great modem!”
At the time of this update, The mod was still under reviewBut it seems that it will be repaired soon.

Wizards of the Coast issued a notification about the removal of DMCA on the Fan Fan Valley of the Stardew, which adds Baldur Bramy 3 characters, although the mod has previously been publicly praised by the general director of LARIAN SWEEN VINCKE. And now Vincke also responded to removal.

Unfortunately, just a few weeks later the mod disappeared. According to the spokesman Nexus Mods saying T -PC Gamer, Dungeons & Dragons and Baldur’s Gate IP Holder Wizards of the Coast, they issued DMCA removal from Mod. “I hope that this is a supervision from WOTC, which often uses external agencies to hunt for violation of content, and will return to their decision,” said the spokesman. “I keep my fingers crossed for the village of Baldura.”
Then, Vincke again commented on the situation on Twitter, once again expressing support for the module, while considering that IP protection is arduous:

“Free quality of fan mods emphasizing your characters in other game genres are proof that your work resonates and is a unique form of lips,” he said. “IMHO should not be treated as commercial projects that violate your property. Protection of intellectual property can be difficult, but I hope that this will be decided. There are good ways to deal with it.”
It is possible that this is part of the greater repression with the wizards of the coast around the Baldura Gate. As we found out at the Game Developers conference at the beginning of this month, we allegedly hear more about what the company planned for the IP “in a fairly short order”, so maybe this free Mod Stardew Valley was in some way. Or maybe it was a mistake that will be quickly repaired. We contacted the wizards of the coast in search of a comment.
