Freshly disclosed in Minecraft Live, the main up-to-date graphic update is on the way to Minecraft, entitled “Vibrating visualizations”.
This upcoming improvement will be initially released for Minecraft compatible devices: Bedrock Edition, but there are plans to introduce live visualizations to Minecraft: Java Edition in the future. It includes improved visual elements, such as directional lighting, volume fog, pixel shadows and clearly shiny water. Clearly visual improvement, lively visualizations do not introduce any changes in the minecraft game. For example, “visual shadows will not affect the level of light in the sense of game mechanics or will not affect where hostile mobs are welding.”
Players will be able to switch between up-to-date and previously existing Minecraft visualizations with a elementary press of the button, which means that the classes who want it.
“So the first edition is in a few months on the beta platform,” said Agnes Larsson, director of Minecraft Vanilla.
“Many tests are happening now to try to get to as many platforms as possible, but it is important that it is high quality and good performance. Yes, this is really the beginning of the journey.”
This journey towards the up-to-date appearance of Minecraft was described in detail by Maddie Psenka, senior product manager at Vibrant Visuals:
“I think it was a journey for some time. Something that we wanted to do in the game. There were earlier projects that we had around the graphics and we wanted to do this type of update, but I think that this time we really wanted to build the foundations for this new mode. Not overtaking things, not making sure that everything was entirely so that we could build it.
“We didn’t go as brisk as we could on the PC so that things look really great and called it done,” Psenka continued. “We wanted to make sure that it worked on mobile devices, worked on the console. Of course, there are many complexity, as you can imagine when jumping on platforms and various backkeens. But we really devoted time to something that we are really proud of.”
This is just the beginning of a new graphic journey for Minecraft, which will improve and evolve in the next few years as the Mojang Balance band, which classic aesthetics of Minecraft with the desire to make it look more like a “state-of-the-art game”.
“When Minecraft is still developing, I think that over the years we will find up-to-date things to add to graphics, right?” Jasper Boerstra, Minecraft artistic director, said.
“I mean that we are always lively and we are here to stay for a long time. Minecraft always lasts. It is more suitable than ever. Yes, I think these graphic updates, whenever something will appear or we receive up-to-date ideas or feedback of the player and back, we can look at even more functions.”
Vibrant Visuals is a free update to Minecraft in the near future, because Mojang still refuses to earn a lot of money on the best -selling game of all time. This philosophy of improving and expanding the original game also goes hand in hand with the desire to study so as not to create “Minecraft 2” or use the generative AI technology. This may be 15 years old, but there is really no trace of Minecraft’s dismissal.
