Why, at hell, Rockstar would publish 21 million followers about a tiny British film from the audience? And who is this guy Danny Dyer? Don’t worry, we’re here to explain.
Who is Danny Dyer?
Danial John Dyer, better known as Danny Dyer, is an actor from Eastern London. And if you live in Great Britain, he doesn’t need to introduce. How is Danny Dyer connected to Rockstar?
If you have no idea who Danny Dyer is, but you are a massive fan of Grand Theft Auto Games, you almost certainly heard his voice. Dyer plays Kent Paul at GTA: Vice City, head of the Scottish rock team, Love Fist. He repeated the role of GTA: San Andreas, in which Kent represented a recent team, chimpanze Gurning, and later produced for rapper Madd Dogg.
However, Dyer has a more significant connection to Rockstar and comes from an unusual place. In 2004, Dyer performed at a football factory, a British film directed by Nick Love and produced by … Rockstar Games. Yes, a long time ago Rockstar helped create a feature film.
Marching Powder, a recent film released in Great Britain and Ireland this week, again connects Danny Dyer with Nick Love. Despite the post on X, Rockstar has nothing to do with the powder march. It seems that the studio simply supports the film because of its earlier relationship with Dyer and Love and their work in a football factory.
Does Kent Paul from Vice City return to GTA 6?
Short answer: we have no idea. And this post in social media certainly has nothing to do with GTA 6. But hey, we can as well theory. Can Kent Paul appear in Grand Theft Auto 6?
It is significant to remember that GTA is divided into two very different eras: 3D era (games released on PS2 and PSP) and the era of HD (GTA 4). Both are considered their own universe – stories from one are not continued to the other. That is why Los Santos from GTA 5 looks completely different than the equivalent city of San Andreas and why there is no direct mention of the characters from the games from the time of PS2 in GTA 4 and 5.
This does not mean, however, that there is no overlap. The house Cul-de-sac, Grove Street, appears in GTA 5, and many gangs that first appeared in the 3D universe are present in the HD universe, including in Ballas. Is there a chance that Kent Paul can return to GTA 6? This is certainly possible. But the post on X about the powder march certainly does not bring us to confirmation.
