Nyt Connections today (game #634) – Answers
Answers to today’s calls, game No. 634 is …
- Yellow: delicate Decrease, disappear, peter, narrowing
- Green: Perform tasks in the garden Plant, plum, water, weed
- Blue: shoes Flat, Mary Jane, Mule, Slide
- Purple: sand__ Castle, paper, piper, stone
- My rating: Moderate
- My result: 2 errors
My two mistakes today came from an attempt to eliminate the correct four words and error. For Wane I contained a slide instead of narrowing and chose paper instead of Mary Jane. Paper shoes are something, right?
This is strange that you will find out when playing. For some time I thought that I was looking for drugs, seeing how the hippie love weed, Mary Jane is Lingo from jazz times for marijuana, the stone is close to “stoned”, and mules are someone who smuggles drugs.
Meanwhile, I am sure that Peter Piper was confused to choose paper, not pepper.
How did you do today? Let me know in the comments below.

What is NYT connections?
NYT Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games made by the New York Times. He challenges a group of four items that share something in common, and each group has a different level of difficulty: green is effortless, yellow, a little more hard, blue often quite challenging and purple, usually very hard.
On the other hand, you don’t have to solve the last technically because you will be able to answer it through the elimination process. What’s more, you can write up to four mistakes, which gives some space to breathe.
However, this is a little more involved than something like Wordle and there are many opportunities to play tripping with tricks. For example, watch out for homophones and other word games that can hide answers.
