Rockstar purchased the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition Developer Video Games Deluxe and renamed IT Rockstar Australia.
Deluxe video games have the history of cooperation with Rockstar over many games, including re-editions of La Noire, La Noire: VR Case Files, and recently at updates to Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy-The Definitive Edition for iOS and Android, Netflix and state-of-the-art consoles.
It should not be confused with the Grove Street Games, which were under fire for the needy quality of the original Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy-Ostateczna edition in 2021 and whose boss said it was “D ** k movement”, which was removed from the loans of the game after a recent, long-awaited update, repairing problems. Deluxe video games have developed this update.
“After many years of cooperation, we are glad that Deluxe video games joined the band as Rockstar Australia,” said the head of the Rockstar Games publishing house, Jennifer Kolbe.
Deluxe video games were founded by Brendan McNamar, the founder of the developer’s team La Noire Bondi. In 2011, allegations of terrifying working conditions at Team Bondi during the development of La Noire went to the Internet. The studio later closed, and McNamara has been retaining a relatively low profile.
“In the last decade, close cooperation with Rockstar games was an honor,” said McNamara in a commentary published as part of the acquisition announcement.
“We are glad that we can be part of Rockstar games and continue our efforts to enable the best games.”
The establishment of Rockstar Australia is ahead of the Grand Theft Auto 6, which is still ready to release autumn 2025.
In December 2023, former Rockstar programmer He tried to explain why GTA 6 comes to the computer after he gets on PS5 and Xbox Series X and SAnd he called PC players to give the studio “Benefits of doubt” in relation to the controversial premiere plans.
We have a lot more on GTA 6, including boss-Dwójka boss Strauss Zelnicka answer to concern with the fate of GTA Online after the GTA 6 exit.
