Our verdict
Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light remain the most crucial event in the Tomb Raider library, with the mobile port of the Felal Interactive with fluid control and excellent performance, complementing a series of pleasant levels.
The year is 2010, and Crystal Dynamics is trying something a bit different with our beloved Tomb Raider, deciding to create an impression inspired by the possibilities for many players. No doubt, Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light It is a climax in the history of Tomb Raider, changing over a million copies on various platforms. Square Enix released the game on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, iOS and Android, although the game would leave mobile shop windows in 2016.
However, now, nine years later, feral interactive re -introduces Lara to a petite screen in the fresh port of Lara Croft and Guardian of Light, and withdraws me that this is a solid version of Tomb Raider. I was concerned about how a fussy featherlight guard could be with various methods (and levels) of movement, thinking that it may not translate well in dealing with control, but these worries were unfounded.
Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light offers a fantastic project and nothing is lost in this port. Touch control is extremely responsive and velvety, and the user interface is not as intrusive as I was afraid. Instead, the left side of the screen is an empty, analog rod appears directly under any place of the thumb, and on the right has a series of buttons that are immense enough to easily touch the screen.
I must admit that it took me some time to deal with jumping and avoiding, because they require a tap and a thumb slide, but after collecting the option I quickly found the option to add additional buttons to these movements. I appreciate such petite things, because although I finally understood it, it is nice that there is an option for these additional buttons, especially since they do not take up too much space on the screen.
When it comes to performance, I don’t have complaints about Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light. Being already on mobile devices, I knew that the game was at least to some extent on a petite screen, and feilla interactive ensured velvety impressions. I played the game on my iPhone 13 without problems, so if you have one of the best games for games or a newer smartphone, you can relax, knowing that this recent Tomb Raider game will be fine.
One of the biggest draws to Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light is that it is a multiplayer game that allows you to go with a friend, and the number of enemies who can jump out is certainly useful for someone to watch someone your back. However, without anyone to play, I could not test multiplayer’s possibilities, but if the performance of the rest of the game is something, including the solo campaign, it should work well.
After 15 years, Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light’s History is probably known if you are a long -time fan of the architect, but I will avoid spoilers in case your first time experiences the action. It is long and miniature that Miss Croft allies with Mayan warrior, Totec, to stop the bad patterns of Xolotl, the Aztec god of fire, lightning and death.

This is not an simple task, because you have to fight on 14 levels (in the basic game), containing movement with platforms and using various weapons, artifacts and relics to survive. Relics and artifacts are particularly captivating, and a lot to collect, but you need to read what they do carefully, because although they can augment the efficiency of your weapon, you can bring more damage. Then you have typical puzzles that you expect to meet in Tomb Raider.
The puzzles themselves can be challenging, and exactly what I want, although I was caused by an occasional problem because I am an impatient bean that would prefer to shoot arrows and force it to cope with any traps and assaults. Poor Lara, probably hates me at the moment.
Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light is a puzzle in a series, but very pleasant, and feilla interactive is great at a mobile phone. This arcade game is worth the price for $ 9.99 / 7.49 £, especially if you take into account that it is consistent with the entire DLC.
