NZXT function Elite MINITKL Review

Published:

Previous NZXT efforts in the keyboard function line brought several excellent versatile mechanical options with solid functions at the level of enthusiasts. The older Mini TKL function, which Dave checked almost three years ago, was impressed by the freedom and layout of a petite pattern. This modern version maintains some of the same functions, although with the “elite” word in the title of the product, it may be clear that there are some differences.

Let’s focus on some similarities. This modern Elite MINITKL function retains the same comfortable 75 % layout, along with a function line, arrow keys and a NAV cluster with one column on the right. It provides most of the fun from a more conventional TKL system, while providing even more real estate on the desk for these vast, sweeping mouse movements that you can take in FPS titles, such as the Counter-Strike 2. It is basic to understand why this has happened such a popular layout among enthusiasts Like me, just on this basis.

Elsewhere, the elites of the MinitKl function retaining the same quality as its predecessor, although now it is equipped with double shots PBT Keycups as standard, which is a sign, how far the mechanical keyboard industry has taken only a few low years. High -quality accents are now a necessity for such premium discs, not just nice.

His chassis is extremely solid with a metal upper team, along with a pleasant NZXT logo at the bottom and a chunky plastic bottom. There is also some texture on the side of the MINITKL elite function, which is rather catchy. I am not sure what its goal is, but it is pleasant to touch and makes the keyboard basic to move when needed.

It is available in black or white, with my sample in the latter. There is something in a well -finished white keyboard, which makes it look like business, and the Elita Minitkl function is exactly what I am talking about. He is wonderfully wise, although in my eyes he compares some comparisons with Cherry XTRFY K5V2, taking into account the color and petite system.

Where Elite Elite Minekl really becomes her namesake, it is what is inside. After all, it counts, right? Instead of choosing standard mechanical switches, NZXT followed the trend and decided on magnetic effects switches in this modern model for the benefit of rapid trigger capabilities for a grave speed. For unaware people, Rapid Trigger allows the switch to have practically immediate start and reset points to ensure extremely rapid inputs.

This is something that has become much more common in the last few years, because seemingly every manufacturer, vast and petite, has put in technology in some of his flagship keyboards.

In combination with this, the Elite Minitkl function also has a 8000 Hz selection speed, which means that it reports input much faster than more conventional keyboards (usually 1000 Hz). Although this may not be noticeable for ordinary mortals, this may change something for competitive players (how much who can say), along with the available caps for a quick trigger.

Both of these functions are combined so that this NZXT board is extremely rapid in FPS games. This served rather snap -in input data for movement and switching between weapons in counterattack 2. You can set up a starting point of up to 0.6 mm with a sensitivity of up to 0.16 mm, which makes them quite rapid. There are several keyboards that can go even higher or offer even more advanced functions, such as analog controller, such as the prices of Wooting 80HE, although Elite MINITKL’s function still remains quite rapid.

The switches themselves, with a force of 30 g, are also rather lightweight and are also velvety in everyday work when you get out of your favorite games. NZXT also packs in Keycap and a switch if you want to replace them, although it is not clear what other switches are compatible, because the Hall’s Hall effect keyboards have less than in the choice.

There is also a SOCD technology that has been banned here by Valve, thanks to which tactics, such as counterattack in counterattack -BIDE. You can exploit it as long as you want to play only offline. Go to online mode with this technology, and you can get a fairly massive blow above your wrist. Nevertheless, it is a powerful piece of technology and I understand why.

The fact that there is probably more trick here than the actual function, because it is not something that you can exploit in anger in the game, without hitting the Ban Valve hammer. I tested him with bots in CS2 for a single player, and this makes even an idiot like me, they play better, taking into account the unnatural speed with which you can move from side to side. I would claim that this is not very vital, taking into account the uncertain nature of this function or something that you should concentrate your purchase decision.

All this is controlled in CAM NZXT software, which combines keyboard lighting regulations, removing the keys, macro recordings and the above -mentioned settings of rapid trigger. Setting everything is especially basic, because you can click the switch and then move to adjust its start and reset the point on the menu. That’s all. You can do it on the basis of the key or do it all over the keyboard.

Buy if …

✅ You want style and power: The Elite MINITKL function provides high rapid trigger and 8K survey in a wonderfully stylish chassis.

Don’t buy if …

❌ You want more versatile connectivity: The only thing I can come up with against the elite function of MINITKL is its purely wired connectivity; If you want wireless funds, other keyboards are enough here.

The same also applies to RGB Elite Elite Elite Minitkl lighting, for which there are also many preliminary settings to choose from, if you do not want to program it all. RGB lighting is also quite tasteful and offers a pleasant mixture of foundation around the keys, as well as shiny. It maintains the Elite Minitkl function quite elegant.

Then we reach the price. The NZXT Elite Minitkl function has $ 190/170 GBP/200 € 200 €, which makes it quite a convincing option in relation to Wooting 80HE, the glorious GMMK 3 he he and Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL. In fact, they undermine them all, at the same time offering an extremely similar set of functions and probably a smarter look.

This means that the elite function of Minkkl is quite an attractive purchase, if it is not one thing – namely Kechron K2. It also has a quick trigger functionality thanks to the Hall Effect switches and although it may not have an 8 -car voting indicator, it has wireless comfort, wooden chassis for even more style and is cheaper for just 140 USD.

Nevertheless, the Elite MINITKL function is a fantastic option if you want a stylish keyboard of games with a petite form with grave sturdy internal. Good job, nzxt.
