Retroid announced the successor of his original Pocket Flip Handheld with the Pocket Flip 2 retroid and will be available to buy this spring. This miniature gadget looks like a fantastic option to play in your favorite retro titles, although it lacks a secondary DS game screen.
Retroid announced his hand for the first time for disagreement with rendering and is hard NO To see Gamecube in your project. From the purple shell, which is very similar to the original indigo to a delicate yellow stick on the right, everything in this gadget seems to have Super Mario Sunshine on the display.
Pocket Flip 2 improves the original model, approaching the face buttons and joysticks. More importantly, retroid withdrew from the joystick sliders – a feature that raised the anger of many fans – and instead replaced them with recessed joysticks. The speakers have also been changed, so your hands do not cover them during the game, unlike the original model.

Render also shows half of the next hand, irritating another addition to the composition of the retroid. The company did not say anything about it, but its appearance was enough to start the gossip mill.
Unfortunately, that’s all we know. Retroid did not provide details about the Pocket Flip 2 specifications, so we do not know what power level to expect – but it will probably be able to deal with retro emulation without breaking sweat, and maybe even start a few more newfangled titles.
We will have to wait for retroid to provide more information, probably closer to the release date. If you already have a steam deck, ROG Ally or a similar conveyor, Retroid probably will not offer anything new-but if you do not have a good option on the way, retroid will be much more affable to the wallet.
