I am not stranger in Survival games, and I also like dinosaurs, so Ark is nothing modern to me, although several years have passed since I recently played the game on my PlayStation. This is a title that receives many updates and extensions, the latest of which is the Ragnarok map – as someone who likes some Nordic mythology, I immediately felt attracted to the name. So I decided to visit Dinos on Mobile with Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition, hoping and praying that he is going better than last time. Megalodon ate me after falling from the cliff. It was gritty.
If you know Ark on other platforms, you will learn exactly what to expect – you must discover the extensive world, look for wrestling, craft objects and do everything you can to survive, what includes the fight against the terrifying beast. There are many maps to choose from, assuming that you are buying them or you have an ark pass, each with your own dangers that you can face, namely the indecent number of dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures that want to make you dinner.
Your time on the Ragnarok map is no different, although you can meet the furious Dodo within a few minutes of arrival, and I will tell you what, a pink, furious bird immediately placed me in its place. But okay; I exist in the real world and fortunately I won’t die, so who really laughs here? As with any map, there are many biomes to discover, and each is a different danger – if, for example, you go to the mountains, you will probably freeze without the right equipment.
Despite the good time of escape from Dodo, my experience in the game was not the best. Full disclosure: I played the game on the iPhone 13, so three generations behind the latest flagship flagship Apple, which can explain some of the problems I encountered. When I play, there are constant drops in the number of cages from the 15 and 16 series, they have processors better adapted to conduct intensive games.
Touch controls are mostly liquid, reacting well and facilitating traversing the world. My only real complaint is moving up to the jump, but maybe console games spoil me with a designated jump and the freedom of choosing in what direction I move with D-PAD or Analogue Stick.
Ark Ultimate Mobile Edition is witty for fans of the game of survival, and the influx of modern maps can aid in maintaining freshness, although there is not much difference – you do the same regardless of your surroundings, but maybe I “still salty that my pleasant trip through Ragnarok She was immediately ruined by Dodo, and then I became dinner for different beasts. At least I have my applications in the Apocalypse. In general, if you want something fresh, Ragnarok is still nippy to discover and it costs only USD 2.99, if you do not have a Ark pass, but problems with performance on older phones slightly make this experience slightly.
