Sony Empisue DMCA employed against Bloodborne 60fps mod, four years after release

Published:

Almost four years later, Sony issued a request to remove DMCA against an unofficial patch of blood, which allows her to act on 60 frames per second.

The message appears through the creator of the module, Lance McDonald, in social media:

McDonald said in the past that Bloodborne is only two code lines away from achieving the goal of performance. His unofficial update proves that this is possible, but now the mod is not available thanks to Sony taking action against him.

Although this should not be surprising news, time is quite compelling. Why did it take so much time to remove DMCA?

Some are aware that the request for removal took place, because the 10th anniversary of the RPG takes place in March this year, which would be an ideal time for Sony to announce all advertisements related to blood disease.

After all, if people can play Bloodborne in 60 frames per second, why should they bother buying their heads, say, remaster?

Of course, this is all speculation (and probably a generous dose of Hopium), but there is definitely some logic of what fans say here. Or Sony is Very Slowly discovering fashion or its sudden action suggests that something else is bubbling.
