First Official Backstage Looks at Five Nights 2 Freddy’s video mainly shows Matthew Lillard on the stairs, but I’m sure fans will find out what he’s doing there

Fancy going backstage for five nights at Freddy’s Movie? Well, there’s finally one, but it doesn’t really show that much.

The thing about an average five-night Freddy fan is that they’re probably averaging five different theories about the franchise at any given time. This is almost definitely because the game’s lore is intentionally obtuse at points, but I can’t really blame anyone for trying to figure out the games’ secrets, even if they can often be quite silly. These theories, of course, extend to the movies, and the recent set PIC leak has, not surprisingly, left fans wondering what the upcoming movie sequel will be about. Now YouTuber Dawko, renowned in no diminutive part for Five Nights at Freddy’s Playthroughs, has shared some official photos from the second film, which of course has fans wondering what’s going on even more.

YouTube released three different photos from the film’s set over the weekend, as part of a charity event in which he was, of course, playing five nights at Freddy’s, The first one Being floors, showing a Freddy toy, probably from the same pizzeria from these leaks. The next one is Photo of a toy Called Faz Talker, again with Toy Freddy on him, who looks like some kind of toy that you talk to, with text that says “You there?”

Finally, and probably most compelling for fans of the series, is a shot of director Emma Tammi talking to Elizabeth Lail, who played Vanessa in the first film, Inside A House, with Matthew Lillard, who played the series’ main villain William William Afton in the first film, looking down from stairs. Those who watched the first film will know that both characters’ fates are somewhat up in the air, and while both are ready, it looks more likely to be a flashback than anything else. But knowing how Five Nights fans are, they’re sure to put these pieces together before the first trailer arrives.

You’ll still have to wait to watch the full movie, though, as it’s not due until December 5, later this year.
