Simple, “Pokémon with Guns” doesn’t scream “Nintendo-approved.” Plus, as reported by our sister site, PCGamesn, Nintendo has gone on Copyright against Palworld Modders using mods to bring actual Pokémon to Palworld. We were looking at a particular Palworld mod by Toastedshoes, who has since deleted his video showing off the mod, stating on Twitter (X) that “Nintendo came for me.”
In June 2024, during an interview with Game file (Thanks, VGC), Palworld developer Takuro Mizobe says Palworld coming to Nintendo Switch may be challenging for “technical reasons,” offering a potentially very different reason for the game’s absence on the platform.
Will Palworld come to Nintendo Switch 2?
While the Nintendo Switch 2 may be able to run Palworld better, it still remains unlikely that the game will be on the porter. Due to Pocket Pair’s turbulent relationship with the Pokémon franchise, you’ll have to meet your PALS on another platform in the meantime.
