As is often the case with recent Diablo 4 seasons and major patches, a few smaller changes are often not included in the patch notes. Discovering what they are has become one of players’ favorite activities during the premiere of each recent season.
Season Witchcraft, the seventh season of Diablo 4, launched on Tuesday with a robust gameplay patch, along with a recent slew of seasonal content, Quest, Witchy Powers, and more. Some of the changes that players were very excited about have little to do with this.

. always top players on the Diablo 4 subreddit I discovered a little change to incense that not only has been widely requested, it just makes sense! Vats now last 30 minutes, as do potions. Since you can have one of them busy at any time, the recent fix means you can start the countdown for both at the same time, knowing that they will end together.
Before this change, the incense always ran out before Exliris, so you either had to wait until your busy elixir was exhausted before reactivating both or the busy incense immediately, which usually meant forgetting to reactivate the elixir. It may seem tiny, but in the endgame, relying on potions and incense makes a massive difference, and anything that makes the mundane aspects of gameplay easier to manage will always be appreciated by players.
Patch 2.1.0, which arrived with the recent season, also brought another welcome quality of life change to Potions. The options available are better organized, which means the giant list we had of every different potion is gone, replaced by categories that are easier to sort through. In other words, you won’t have to worry about reading which level of potion you’re looking at, which is quite annoying in a game when all the options are available.
You may also have noticed that the Wardrobe Customization and Player Customization screens have been completely reworked. Pigments now have their own tab to make it easier to make all items the same color by default. The recent layout is also easier to read and allows for more space for our eternal collection of transogs.
Unfortunately, the recent design has brought back the item notification bug, where the icon telling you there’s something recent to see stays evident no matter what you do. If these things tend to make you miserable, You’re certainly not alone in this.
So far, Season of Spells has been well received by players, with many being particularly pleased with the number of quality of life features Diablo 4 now has compared to last year, which affects all players of the game regardless of whether they engage with them Seasonal content .
