Yellow jackets Season 3 has a up-to-date trailer ahead of its premiere next month, and it looks like things are going to get complicated in both the past and the present.
Listen, if you make a trailer for a show about a group of high school students who crash-land in the middle of the desert and can’t get home, so they resort to cannibalism in Bodies by Drowning Pool, I’ll be instantly convinced, and wouldn’t you know that’s exactly what the season three trailer did Yellowjackets! This isn’t one of those annoying trailer versions of this song either, it’s just fact, cut up in a fun way to fit the very sloppy action of the upcoming third season. Seriously, this trailer is full of knives from both the past and the present, and both timelines also look a bit gory here and there.
If you’re curious what Season 3 will actually be about, Showtime has the synopsis for you: “As summer approaches, the Yellowjackets face a frail victory – the brutal winter that almost took them away has finally passed, but there’s distrust in the leadership and tensions within the team threaten their chances of rescue. In the present, long-hidden secrets from their past begin to come to delicate, as the women struggle to keep their lives from burning out and must face the chilling question: who are they really and what obscure truths are they hiding from themselves and each other?”

The series also has an uncertain premiere date, as Yellowjackets Season 3 is currently airing on Paramount Plus on February 14, which is Valentine’s Day. Romantic!
